By 2025, artificial intelligence (AI) has become even more powerful and creative. A new trend (趋势) called “AI Teachers” is now common in classrooms. These AI systems not only answer questions but also design personalized learning plans for each student. For example, if a student has a problem with math, the AI teacher will create 3D models and games to help them understand. Moreover, these systems can recognize students’ feelings through facial expressions. If a learner looks puzzled, the AI gently asks, “Shall I explain it again?” This makes education more human-centered.
Another exciting development is “AI + Brain-Computer Interface (BCI)”. Scientists have created light headsets that let people control robots or computers just by thinking. This technology helps disabled students write articles or draw pictures using their minds. Recently, a disabled boy in Fuzhou even used BCI to play chess with his classmates online. A 14-year-old user named Lin Lin shared, “It feels like magic—my thoughts become actions!”
However, new challenges appear. Some people worry about AI “deepfakes”—videos that look real but aren’t real. To solve this, governments are making strict rules. Since 2024, all AI-produced works must have a special digital watermark (数字水印) to avoid cheating. For example, a Beijing middle school now uses software to check watermarks in students’ homework. Teachers say, “It’s like a true sign for AI work.”
Looking ahead, AI is expected to fight climate change. “AI Forests” projects use drones (无人机) and smart robots to plant trees in deserts and monitor wildlife. In Fujian Province, smart sensors powered by AI track (追踪) forest fires, sending out warnings within seconds. As Dr. Chen from Xiamen University says, “AI isn’t just technology—it’s a bridge to a greener future.”
26.What’s the main idea of Paragraph 1?
A.The problems of “AI Teachers” B.The feelings of “AI Teachers”.
C.The advantages of “AI Teachers”. D.The learning plans of “AI Teachers”.
27.How does AI help disabled students according to the text?
A.By creating 3D models. B.By reading facial expressions.
C.By playing chess with them. D.By using the technology “AI + BCI”.
28.Why does the writer mention the “deepfake” in Paragraph 3?
A.To remind readers to use AI carefully.
B.To discuss the government’s strict rules.
C.To introduce the challenges that haven’t been solved.
D.To show us videos that look real but aren’t real.
29.Which of the following has the closest meaning to the underlined word “monitor” in Paragraph 4?
A.Fight with. B.Worry about. C.Watch and guard. D.Change and help.
30.What’s Dr. Chen’s attitude (态度) toward AI?
A.Careful. B.Uninterested. C.Doubtful. D.Hopeful.

28.推理判断题。根据第三段提到“deepfake”是为了引出AI带来的挑战,并说明政府通过数字水印等措施应对。作者意图是提醒谨慎使用AI,而非单纯讨论规则或未解决问题。 故选A。
29.词义猜测题。根据“‘AI Forests’ projects use drones (无人机) and smart robots to plant trees in deserts and monitor wildlife. ”可知,此处提到“人工智能森林”项目使用无人机和智能机器人在沙漠中植树;及下一句“In Fujian Province, smart sensors powered by AI track (追踪) forest fires, sending out warnings within seconds. ”可知,此处举例说明用人工智能驱动的智能传感器追踪森林火灾,并在几秒钟内发出警报,结合上下文可知,“monitor”在文中指AI用无人机和传感器“监测”野生动物和森林火灾,即“观察并保护”。故选C。
30.观点态度题。根据“As Dr. Chen from Xiamen University says, ‘AI isn’t just technology—it’s a bridge to a greener future.’”可知,Dr. Chen称AI是“通往绿色未来的桥梁”,明确表达了对AI积极作用的期待,态度充满希望。故选D。

Last year, China’s largest desert, the Taklimakan, was finally surrounded (围绕) by a green belt. This is the result of over 40 years of hard work in the Three-North Shelterbelt Forest Program (三北防护林工程). It’s the world’s biggest effort to fight against desertification (沙漠化).
The Taklimakan Desert is very harmful to the environment around it. For many years, it has covered roads, farmland and rivers. Some sand dunes (沙丘) move towards the oases (绿洲). They move about two to three meters every year. To solve these problems, China started the Three-North Shelterbelt Forest Program. It began in 1978 and is planned to be finished by 2050.
By the end of 2023, a part of the forest belt that is 2,761 kilometers long had already joined the oases in Xinjiang. The last part, which is about 285 km long, runs through the areas along the south side of the Taklimakan Desert. This part is the hardest to build because this area of the desert has the worst sandstorms. But the government has taken smart and scientific ways to finish this part.
Over the last 40 years, China has increased its forest area by 32 million hectares (公顷) because of this program. By 2050, the forest area of this program will cover more than 4 million square kilometers. This project shows how creative China is in building a good environment. It also gives the world good ideas on how to stop desertification.
46.Is the Taklimakan Desert harmful to the surrounding environment?
47.When did the Three-North Shelterbelt Forest Program begin?
48.Why is it difficult to build the south side of the Taklimakan Desert?
49.How large will the forest area be by 2050 according to the program?

How Green Ideas Change Our Lives
Hello, everyone. Our group discussed how green ideas have changed our daily lives. Sam’s father used to drive him to school, but now he takes public transportation, such as buses and the subway. Anna shared that she uses cloth bags and reusable tableware to cut down on plastic waste.
I also take action. I learned about waste sorting. In the past, I used to throw all the waste into one bin without a second thought. Now I carefully sort the waste. For some useful things, I recycle or reuse them instead of throwing them away. And I also started a recycling program in my class. Through the students’ creativity, we turned waste into art projects.
Putting green ideas into practice is not hard—start with simple actions. By doing this, we will surely build a greener world in the future!
That’s all. Thank you.
