Students displayed remarkable enthusiasm and showcased their individual skills. They utilized waste paper, plastic bottles, and other discarded materials to craft a wide range of unique and innovative artworks, each reflecting the students' vivid imagination and unusual aesthetic taste. This event triggered a strong resonance among students. Participants universally agreed that the contest not only sharpened their DIY skills, but also gave them profound insight into the value of waste recycling, thereby enabling the concept of environmental protection to take root in their hearts.  (二) How to Protect the Environment On this blue planet, every inch of the land and every breath of fresh air is a precious treasure given by nature. When we are immersed in the glory of modern civilization, however, the disappearance of forests, the loss of wild animals’ homes, the pollution of rivers and lakes, and the flood of plastic waste, all remind us of the urgency of environmental protection! As high school students, it always comes first to start from the most ordinary things, such as saying no to disposable plastic products, saving paper, classifying the garbage, etc. It is also preferable to choose walking, cycling or public transportation to reduce carbon emissions. Plus, why not participate in campaigns against environmental pollution to get more people involved? Let us go green to protect our beautiful planet! Thank you! (三) Dear Sir or Madam, I am delighted to be able to provide feedback on the World Environmental Day series. This activity is of great significance, giving me a deep insight into the importance of environmental protection. My awareness of environmental protection has been enhanced by making environmental posters, participating in garbage sorting games and environmental volunteer activities. Plus the activity has also strengthened the cooperation and communication between the students, therefore building a more powerful spirit of teamwork. Therefore, I always involve myself in the campaign of taking care of the campus. Never have I broken flowers and plants. And never ever have I spit in public. Plus, I have always been keeping a close eye on garbage classification, as a result of which throwing waste into the right trash can is what I am holding on to. Let's take care of the campus. The School Environmental Protection Club (六) Notice In order to inspire your creative spirit and enhance your awareness of environmental protection, our school is scheduled to hold an exhibition in the first week of next month from 3 PM to 5 PM in the exhibition hall on the first floor of the Art Building. You can use your imagination to make handicrafts from waste materials, presenting an exhibition with a mix of art and environmental protection. Your works should be submitted to the Student Union office before 4 PM on May 31. Your active participation is highly expected, and please keep those around you informed. The Student Union (七) An Environmental Protection Voluntary Activity Last weekend witnessed my participation in an environmental protection voluntary activity organized by the Student Union in our city’s Central Park. This activity was aimed to raise students' awareness of environmental protection and transform that awareness into conscious action. Upon arrival, we students began to perform our assigned tasks as planned. Some were cleaning away the rubbish, some sorting the garbage into the trash cans, and some teaming up with each other to plant trees, with everyone buried in their work.
