Step1 Lead in
1.Watch and think.
Watch a video and answer questions: What rules did Ne zha should follow?
(设计意图:通过观看视频并思考问题,引导学生关注哪吒违反的规则,激发学生的兴趣与思考,促使学生联系现实生活,培养其观察、分析及知识迁移能力,为后续教学内容做铺垫。)
Step2 Pre-listening
1.Think and speak:There are also many rules around us. What rules do you know ?
(lead students to speak out traffic rules,eating rules,class rules,family rules,shopping rules,library rules)
2. Activity1 A
Match the rules (a-f) with the pictures at the top of the next page.
3.Learn more the specific contents of traffic rules,eating rules,class rules,family rules,shopping rules,library rules.
4.Activity1 B Group work. Read the rules.
5.Pair work. Discuss where or when you should follow them ,then match the pictures with the 8 rules.Then check the answers.
(设计意图:通过引导学生思考并说出身边的规则,开展匹配、学习、小组及结对活动,让学生在多样互动中熟悉各类规则,激活背景知识,为听力学习做好语言和认知铺垫。)
Step3 While-listening
1.Activity 1 C. Pair work.
①Listen and repeat.
②Work in pairs.
Read the sentences and find more details.
Replace the parts in bold and practice.
2.Activity 2
①show the pictures of Activity 2 ,and then lead students to predict:
(Look at these pictures. Maybe they are about the rules we just learned. What rules do you think will be talked about in the listening? For example, in the first picture, they may talk about library rules...
②Listen to the conversations and number the pictures.
③Listen again and fill in the chart.
④Listen and read together.

Step4 Post-listening
1. Take notes.
Explain the listening text of Activity 2 and take notes.
2. Group work. Discuss the rules in public with your partners.
3. Do some exercises

Step5 Summary and assessment
Teachers and students jointly review the content learned in this lesson, including vocabulary, sentence patterns, listening skills, etc.

Step6 Homework
①Basic Homework: Write 5 sentences,using "We should..." and "We shouldn't..." to describe rules in different scenarios.
②Advanced Homework: Find out at least 5 rules in the community or school where you live, then write them down in English.
