一、教材分析
《普通高中英语课程标准》注重学生的全面发展,具有重要的育人功能,旨在发展学生的语言能力、文化意识、思维品质和学习能力等学科核心素养,落实立德树人根本任务。新课标指出实施普通高中英语课程应以德育为魂、能力为重,注重在发展学生英语语言运用能力的过程中,帮助他们学习、理解和鉴赏中外优秀文化,培养中国情怀,逐步提升跨文化沟通能力、思辨能力、学习能力和创新能力,形成正确的世界观、人生观和价值观。
本课时的教学内容来自人教版(2019)选择性必修第三册 Unit 3 Environmental Protection 的Video Time部分,本课时的课型是一节Watching and Thinking课。 本单元的主题是“人与自然”下的子主题“环境保护”。大自然为人类提供了生存的环境,如果环境遭受破坏,那么人类生存发展的空间就会被破坏,所以保护环境就是保护人类自己。保护环境可以促进经济发展,尤其是促进经济的可持续发展。环境保护体现了个人修养与素质,是社会文明进步的标志。
Video Time板块的视频介绍了乌拉圭(位于南美洲大西洋海岸)的一所“绿色”学校。该板块的视听活动主要让学生了解绿色学校的运作方式,理解视频中的信息要点。看后讨论活动引导学生观察和发现身边类似的环保项目,意识到垃圾分类的重要性,思考是否能认清各种垃圾并加以分类,从而有效地改善环境状况,减少污染。反思自己能否在垃圾分类和减量排放环保活动中做出贡献。这些问题训练学生的思维能力和语言运用能力,能够拓宽他们的视野,培养资源循环利用的环保意识,提高他们合理利用资源、保护自然环境的能力。 二、学情分析
本节课的授课对象是高二年级的学生,此阶段的学生在英语语言知识方面已经有了一定的积累,能针对视频内容回答一些具体信息,对垃圾分类和环境保护也有一定的了解,能够掌握与环境保护相关的词汇和词组,理解相关知识点;但由于学生学习时间和学习环境有限,在英语语言技能使用方面存在一定的局限性,例如用英语思考和表达中心思想,归纳主旨大意,推理判断原因等深层次的语言活动技能。学生可能对环境问题的原因和解决方案的英文表达不熟悉,对垃圾分类的意义和实用的减量排放技巧缺乏思考和认识,这些都需要通过这节课的学习来提升他们的理解能力和实际应用能力。
三、教学目标

四、教学重点与难点分析

七、教学过程设计
步骤一: Lead-in (导入)
Task one: Show some pictures about environmental issues.
T (teacher): Good morning class, today we are going to learn the video Time part of unit .As we know, this unit is about the Environmental Protection,and in this unit we have learnt about several environmental problems in our world.OK, at first, let’s look at these pictures. Do you know what environmental issues each picture show?
Ss (students):Students speak out the names of the issues.
Task two: Ask a question for the students to think about.
T : As for these issues,what can we do to save our own planet?
Ss :Students’ answers may vary,such as reduce energy consumption,reduce waste emissions,and strengthen environmental education.
Task three: Show some pictures about “green school”.
T : Boys and girls,have you heard about “green school”? Why is it called “green school”? Is it painted green? Is it surrounded by green trees? Or is it an environmental-
friendly sustainable school?
Ss :The school is environmental-friendly sustainable.
T : Yes.You did a good job.This is the first sustainable school in Uruguay,South America.Now let me introduce Uruguay to you.
设计意图:通过图片和问题使学生回顾本单元已学的内容,强化主题语境意识,并且联系现实生活思考解决办法,进而引出本节课的话题“green school”,为后面的教学任务做好背景铺垫。
步骤二:Before watching(看前部分)
T: Before we watch the video, let’s look at the Before watch part.Here are some photos from the video.In groups,use the words and phrases in the box to describe each picture with one sentence.For example,Picture 1: Students collected trash like tin cans and reused them.

步骤三:While-watching
Task 1: Play the video and check the prediction

设计意图:通过这些问题的设置可以培养学生自主获取具体信息和归纳主旨大意的能力,并且学会使用间接引语报道视频中采访者说的语言能力。Task3的问题设置可以让学生提高垃圾分类和减量的环保意识,引导学生关注环境问题,并积极参与环保活动,为接下来的讨论环节做好准备。
步骤四: After-watching
Task 1: Ask the students to have a discussion.

Task 2: Expansion and Innovation(拓展和创新)

设计意图:这一步骤的Task 1是针对视频内容进行讨论,让学生对视频内容进行总结归纳,锻炼学生提炼主旨大意的能力,同时培养他们关心环境,投入到环保行动的意识和决心。Task 2是在教材内容上的拓展和创新,引导学生思考垃圾分类和减量的话题,学习垃圾分类的相关知识,充分回收利用可回收物,变废为宝,减少垃圾处理量切实从生活中的实践行为做起,适度消费,拒绝浪费,为生活垃圾减量,为保护环境做贡献。
步骤五: Homework
Ask the students to do the following after class:
1. Prepare a presentation about the environmental-friendly measures and share it with your classmates.
2. Work in groups to make a poster for garbage classification and reduction and post it online to get likes from friends and relatives.
设计意图:通过准备一份关于环保措施的报告,可以使学生巩固课堂上所学到的知识和技能,同时能培养学生的环保意识,热爱家园,关注环境问题,并积极参与环保活动。小组合作制作一张垃圾分类和减量的海报,可以培养学生的合作精神和团结互助意识,同时让他们体验到共同学习的快乐,最好把海报发到网上去得到亲朋好友的点赞,使得垃圾分类和减量的环保意识得到了宣传,让更多的人投入到环保行动中来,提高大家的环保文化意识。

九、教学反思
本节课的教学目标是通过观看一个关于“Green School”(环保学校)的视频,让学生了解这所学校的特点,使学生接触到环保和可持续发展在现实生活中的运用,从而意识到环境保护的重要性以及思考个人和集体应该如何对环境进行保护。通过设计问题和练习题,培养学生的观察和思维能力,提高他们对环境保护知识的理解。通过课堂任务的设计,检查学生对课堂内容的掌握程度,提升英语核心素养。
在教学过程中,首先我发现学生对于环保方面的知识掌握甚微,很多学生对于一些与环境保护相关的问题和对垃圾分类的认识并不准确,因此在课前我应该让学生接触到一些垃圾分类的常识,这样他们在课堂上就能更好地用英语来表达自己的想法。另外,我还需要在教学内容中增加一些实际应用的例子和情境,让学生更好地理解知识。最后,在小组合作过程中应该参与到学生中,给与学生必要的帮助,带动学生积极参与,发挥创新思维;同时发挥教学评价的作用,让学生自己分析介绍制定的解决方案,然后小组之间互评,让他们互相学习,互相影响促进,共同提高素养和能力。
总之,在今后的教学中我需要更加科学有效地把生活实际问题和英语课堂核心素养结合起来,并通过多种形式的教学活动来激发学生的主动性和积极性,培养适应时代需要的人才。同时,我也需要更加注重在课后复习和学习过程中,引导学生形成良好的学习习惯,思维方式和环保意识,使学生成为一个有责任感有担当精神的社会主义接班人。
