序数词是数词的一种,主要在英语语法中涉及,在汉语中表示为“第几”。
英语上数词分为基数词和序数词两大类,序数词在句中可作主语、宾语、定语和表语。
英语上数词分为两大类: 基数词和序数词。
序数词是指表示 顺序的 数词。序数词是由基数词变化而来的,变化如下:
数词是表示数目多少或顺序先后的词。
如:There are twenty girls in our class.我们班有20个女生。
Sunday is the first day of a week.星期天是一周的第一天。
数词的含义:
数词分为两大类,即基数词和序数词
表示数量多少的数词叫基数词。
There are five balls here.
表示顺序的数词叫序数词。
The smallest ball is the first one on the left.
数词的分类:
基数词的构成:
1.1-12的基数词是独立的单词。

2.13-19多数在末尾加-teen,但13、15、18较特殊。

3.从20-90整十位数,多数在词尾加-ty,但20、30、40、50、80较特殊。
4.21-99在整十位的数词后加上个位的数词,中间加上连字符“-”

5.101-999的构成要在百位数与十位数之间加and

整百数由1-9加hundred构成
基数词的构成:
6.1000以上的数字,从后向前数,每三位数加一“,”;
第一个“,”前为thousand(千),第二个“,”前为million(百万)……。

找清规律很容易,十二以内词各异
十三数到十九去,后加-teen莫忘记。
二十、三十至九十,整十之后有-ty;
如果要说几十几,中间“-”号别丢弃,
hundred是一百,请你记住莫大意。

4. 百、千、万的序数词有hundred-hundredth,thousand-thousandth
第三百 three hundredth

基数词和序数词的转变
基变序,有规律,词尾加上-th。
一、二、三,特殊记,词尾字母t, d, d
八去 t,九去 e,ve 要用 f替。
ty将 y 变成 i,th 前面有个e。
若是碰到几十几,前用基来后用序。
巧学妙计:
基数词
(有数字无s)
1. 前有基数词时,hundred、thousand、million 后不加s
如:There are seven hundred students in our school.
在我们学校有七百个学生。
2. hundreds of 成百上千的、thousands of 成千上万的
如:There are thousands of trees on the farm.
农场里有成千上万的树。
序数词
【the/形容词性物主代词+序数词】
1.序数词前一般要加定冠词the。
如:Our classroom is on the second floor.我们的教室在二楼。
2.序数词前有物主代词,指示代词或名词所有格修饰时,不能再用定冠词the。
如:David is her third son. David是她的第三个儿子。
序数词
3.形容词的最高级前可以使用序数词,表示“第……最……的”。
如:The Yellow River is the second longest river in China.
黄河是中国第二长河。
1. 表示整点时,用“基数词+o'clock”表示,其中"o'clock”可以省略。
e.g. 8: 00eight (o'clock) 12: 00 twelve (o'clock)
2. 表示半点时,用“钟点数+thirty”或"half+past+钟点数”表示。
e.g. 3: 30 three thirty 或 half past three
8: 30 eight thirty half past eight
时刻表达法
3. 表示“几点几分”时,用“钟点数十分钟数”
e.g. 4: 05 four five 1:50 one fifty

倒读法
(1)不超过30分,分钟数+past+钟点数,表示几点过几分,
如3:05 five past three
(2)超过30分,分钟数+to+下一个钟点数,表示差几分到几点,
如3:55 five to four
(3)30分用half,15分用quarter 如 2:30 half past two 2:45 a quarter to three
例如: 5:07 seven minutes past five
6:57 three minutes to seven
1、年份用基数词。
e.g. 1999 →nineteen ninety-nine
1900 →nineteen hundred
2025 →two thousand and twenty-five

温馨提示:
特别要注意以下几种年份的读法:
1906 年 nineteen o six或nineteen six
2000年 two thousand
1900年 nineteen hundred
2008年 two thousand and eight
3.年、月、日的表示法
英语中表示日期的顺序与汉语不同,通常为“月、日、年”或“日、月、年”。
(1) “月”用英语中表示月份的名词,“日”用基数词或序数词表示都可以。
如:10月2日写作: October 2(nd)
读作: October (the) second
年月日的表达:
(3)年、月、日的表示法
可以按“月—日—年”的顺序表示,也可以按“日—月—年”的顺序表示。
如:2025年3月8日表示为 March 8st, 2025或 8st March, 2025

货币的表示法
(1)中国货币中国货币单位是yuan, 一般没有复数形式,符号为¥, 汉语译为“元”。
如: 20元表示为20 yuan或¥20.
(2)美国货币美国货币单位是dollar, 有复数形式dollars,符号为$, 汉语译为“元” 。
如: 1元表示为1dollar或$1

(3)英国货币英国货币的基本单位是 pound(英镑),复数是 pounds,符号为£。

①基数词和序数词可以表示事物的编号。
着重编号,用“名词+基数词”;着重顺序,用“序数词 + 名词”。
