专题02 阅读理解记叙文 (一) (内蒙古部分名校2023-2024高二下期末试题) A dad from Texas didn’t miss a beat when it came to supporting his daughter recently. Cecelia Simmons shared a video of her husband, Andre Simmons, dancing in the stands while their daughter Jazlyn and her Temple High School cheer team performed. In the video, as the cheer team members raise the small balls and go through their routine, Andre Simmons follows right along, nailing the moves right alongside them. The post shared on social media has obtained over 312,000 views. With tens of thousands of overwhelmingly positive comments on his post, people online quickly shared their reactions. They recommended Andre Simmons as “Cheer Dad of the Year” or applauded his energy and spot-on moves. Simmons himself was quick to say he’s not the best dancer and it took him a few days to learn the routine. “Once I got it down pat, I just jumped up there when I heard the band finally bring the song up and I got up there and did it with her,” he said. But the father of five said he persisted because he wanted to create a lifelong memory with his girl Jazlyn, mostly because he was constantly away for work, thereby affording limited opportunities to be in the company of her. “Since she made the cheer team, that was my way of supporting her and kind of relieving the guilt of the lost time. She thought I was doing things that she loved and surprising her with joining her in the cheer during the football game,” Simmons said. Simmons said Jazlyn and her cheer team friends were surprised and “absolutely loved” that he could join in on the fun. The proud dad said it meant “the world” to him to be able to be there for his daughter too. “I love to try to be a super dad when I’m here and create those lifelong memories and it’s something for us to look back on and enjoy together,” he said and planned on cheering some more and making more memories with Jazlyn. 1.What did Andre Simmons do at his daughter’s cheer performance? A.He danced with the team. B.He filmed the performance. C.He coached the cheer team. D.He cheered from the stands. 2.How did people find Andre Simmons’ behavior? A.Amusing. B.Disturbing. C.Odd. D.Admirable. 3.Why did Andre Simmons make such a decision? A.To win the title of “Cheer Dad of the Year”. B.To show off his newly learned dancing skills. C.To be the focus of attention on the Internet. D.To make up for being absent from Jazlyn’s life. 4.Which words can best describe Andre Simmons? A.Bearable and cautious. B.Selfless and cooperative. C.Supportive and caring. D.Ambitious and sensitive. 根据第一段中“Cecelia Simmons shared a video of her husband, Andre Simmons, dancing in the stands while their daughter Jazlyn and her Temple High School cheer team performed. (Cecelia Simmons分享了她丈夫Andre Simmons在看台上跳舞的视频,而他们的女儿Jazlyn和她的Temple高中啦啦队在表演。)”可知,当Andre Simmons的女儿Jazlyn和她所在的啦啦队正在表演时,他在看台上跳舞。故选A。 2. 根据第二段中“ With tens of thousands of overwhelmingly positive comments on his post, people online quickly shared their reactions. They recommended Andre Simmons as “Cheer Dad of the Year” or applauded his energy and spot-on moves. Simmons himself was quick to say he’s not the best dancer and it took him a few days to learn the routine.(他的帖子得到了数以万计的正面评论,网友们迅速分享了他们的反应。他们推荐Andre Simmons为“年度最佳加油爸爸”,或者称赞他的精力和精准的动作。Andre Simmons自己很快就说他不是最好的舞者,他花了几天时间来学习舞蹈。)”可知,Andre Simmons的视频获得了很多的正面评论,大家推荐Andre Simmons为“年度最佳加油爸爸”,为他的活力和到位动作喝彩。故选D。 3.推理判断题。根据第三段中“But the father of five said he persisted because he wanted to create a lifelong memory with his girl Jazlyn, mostly because he was constantly away for work, thereby affording limited opportunities to be in the company of her. (二) (内蒙古自治区赤峰市2023-2024高二下期末试题) During my two years living in London, I found that the British people really enjoy eating and drinking outdoors. When the weather is nice, restaurants and bars always bring out chairs, and everyone eats, drinks, and chats in the sunlight or under the lights. This continues even in the winter. However, it seems that Chinese people generally don’t eat and drink this way, except at markets. Markets always bring people joy. Each region in China has its own unique market. Usually just a few small stalls, a couple of tables and chairs, are enough to allow people to have a hearty meal in an open-air setting. Living in Beijing year-round, I have always complained that it is too much of a metropolis, too much concrete and steel. It wasn’t until I went to the suburban markets that I discovered a hidden version of Beijing, intimate, bustling, and lively. The open-air markets can usually be found in suburban areas. The opening times are mostly based on the lunar calendar. But for someone like me with social anxiety, the most precious thing about the market is the sense of freedom that comes from being able to blend in despite the large crowds. When you see something delicious, you just buy and eat it, getting your hands and mouth oily, because with so many people in the market, no one will even notice. The open-air market is like the city of Beijing itself. It is so vast that it seems to be able to accommodate everything, and yet because of its size, it also seems to provide a sense of invisibility, allowing you to feel warm and free, where every person who arrives can find something for themselves. 1.What’s the function of the first paragraph? A.To overview the whole article. B.To present the background. C.To make a prediction. D.To introduce the main topic. 2.What did the author feel about Beijing before visiting the suburban markets? A.It was a lively and bustling city. B.It was full of history and culture. C.It was a small and intimate community. D.It was too modern and lacked a characteristic. 3.What does the suburban market mean to the author? A.A good medicine to social anxiety. B.A soft song to the beautiful life. C.A new door to the whole world. D.A magic key to the solid heart. 4.What’s the last paragraph mainly about? A.The appeal of Beijing city. B.The convenience of the market. C.The charm of Chinese culture. D.The inclusiveness of the open-air market. 由第一段“During my two years living in London, I found that the British people really enjoy eating and drinking outdoors. When the weather is nice, restaurants and bars always bring out chairs, and everyone eats, drinks, and chats in the sunlight or under the lights. This continues even in the winter. However, it seems that Chinese people generally don’t eat and drink this way, except at markets. 由第三段中“Living in Beijing year-round, I have always complained that it is too much of a metropolis, too much concrete and steel. (我常年住在北京,总是抱怨它太像一个大都市,太多的混凝土和钢铁)”可推知,在参观郊区市场之前,作者认为北京太现代了,缺乏特色。故选D项。 3.细节理解题。由第四段中“But for someone like me with social anxiety, the most precious thing about the market is the sense of freedom that comes from being able to blend in despite the large crowds. (但对于像我这样有社交焦虑症的人来说,市场最珍贵的是一种自由感,这种自由感来自于能够在人群众多的情况下融入其中)”可知,郊区市场让作者感到自由,容易融入其中,郊区市场对作者来说是治疗社交焦虑症的良药。故选A项。 4. 由最后一段中“The open-air market is like the city of Beijing itself. It is so vast that it seems to be able to accommodate everything, and yet because of its size, it also seems to provide a sense of invisibility, allowing you to feel warm and free, where every person who arrives can find something for themselves. (露天市场就像北京本身。它是如此巨大,似乎能够容纳一切,但由于它的大小,它似乎也提供了一种隐形感,让你感到温暖和自由,每个到达的人都可以为自己找到一些东西)”可知,最后一段主要讲了露天市场的包容性。故选D项。 (三) (内蒙古呼伦贝尔市满洲里市第一中学2022-2023高二下期末试题) Three years ago, CheMyong Jay Ko received a call from a broken-hearted old man saying his dog had just been killed by a truck. He asked: Would it be possible to clone his beloved pet? Having studied cloning for more than 20 years, Ko had a positive answer. He knew a handful of commercial companies that were committed to bringing cloning to ordinary pet owners — for a price, of course. To clone a dog, the owner had to pay $50,000 before taxes. The high price turned the old man off, but not some wealthy pet owners. The most famous is Barbara Streisand. The singer had two dogs cloned from cells taken from the mouth of her white deceased Sammie. As Streisand wrote later, “I was so shocked by the loss of my beloved Sammie, after 14 years together, that I just wanted to keep her with me in some way. It was easier to let Sammie go if I knew I could keep some part of her alive, something that came from her DNA.” If you spend enough time reading about pet cloning, you’ll see that adjective come up over and over again: beloved. When people clone their animals, they do so because they love them — and because they can’t stand losing them forever. The price of $50,000 may seem reasonable if it saves you the immeasurable pain of saying goodbye to a beloved family member. Talk to experts about cloning, however, and you’ll begin to realize that cloning has far more problems than money. For example, there would be significant differences between the clone and the original pet, both in their looks and personality. Even Streisand admitted, “You can clone the look of a dog, but you can’t clone the soul.” 1.Why did the old man call Ko? A.To save his dog. B.To seek comfort. C.To have his pet cloned. D.To share heartbreaking news. 2.What does the underlined word “deceased” in Paragraph 2 mean? A.Cute. B.Dead. C.Cloned. D.Disabled. 3.Streisand’s words in Paragraph 3 serve as ________. A.an example of cloned pets B.an analysis of how she kept her dog alive C.an explanation why people clone their pets D.a description her mixed feelings about cloning 4.What can be inferred about cloned animals from the last paragraph? A.They may fail to meet people’s expectations. B.They improve on the original in personality. C.They may bring experts serious problems. D.They look the same as the original. 根据第一段“Three years ago, CheMyong Jay Ko received a call from a broken-hearted old man saying his dog had just been killed by a truck. He asked: Would it be possible to clone his beloved pet?(三年前,CheMyong Jay Ko接到一个伤心的老人的电话,说他的狗刚被一辆卡车撞死。他问:有可能克隆他心爱的宠物吗?)”可知,那老人给Ko打电话是为了克隆他的宠物。故选C。 2.词句猜测题。根据后文“As Streisand wrote later, “I was so shocked by the loss of my beloved Sammie, after 14 years together, that I just wanted to keep her with me in some way.(正如Streisand后来写道:“我深爱的Sammie和我在一起14年,她的去世让我非常震惊,我只想以某种方式把她留在我身边。”)”可知,Streisand是通过她已故的白色的Sammie的嘴里取出的细胞中克隆了两只狗。由此推知,划线词deceased为“已故的”之意。故选B。 3.推理判断题。根据第三段“I was so shocked by the loss of my beloved Sammie, after 14 years together, that I just wanted to keep her with me in some way. It was easier to let Sammie go if I knew I could keep some part of her alive, something that came from her DNA.(我深爱的Sammie和我在一起14年,她的去世让我非常震惊,我只想以某种方式把她留在我身边。如果我知道我能保留她的一部分,从她的DNA中提取的东西,让Sammie离开会更容易些)”可推断,Streisand在第三段中的话是解释为什么人们克隆宠物。故选C。 4.推理判断题。根据最后一段“there would be significant differences between the clone and the original pet, both in their looks and personality. Even Streisand admitted, “You can clone the look of a dog, but you can’t clone the soul.”( 克隆人和原来的宠物在外表和个性上都有显著的不同。就连Streisand也承认,“你可以克隆狗的外貌,但你克隆不了灵魂。”)”可推断,克隆动物他们可能不能满足人们的期望。故选A。 (四) (内蒙古通辽市第一中学2023-2024高二下期末试题) Eric Ashby’s fascination with nature began at an early age. His first article, Bird Photography: an Ideal Hobby for Boys, was published when he was just 16 and illustrated with photographs that he’d taken. His interest in photography had been sparked four years earlier in 1930, when the wildlife photographer Cherry Kearton came to Southsea, Ashby’s home town, to present a show of his work. The 12-year-old Ashby saw the show and immediately started saving his pocket money to buy a camera for filming wildlife in the nearby New Forest. But Ashby’s films did not reach the public due to the World War II. In 1953, he and his wife Eileen moved to Badger (獾) Cottage, in the heart of the New Forest. It was here that Ashby perfected the techniques that would make him famous through the new medium of television. His patience and technical knowledge allowed him to film badgers at their holes during daylight — the first time this behaviour had ever been captured on camera. In 1961, at the age of 43, Ashby finally got his big break, when the BBC showed his 45-minute film The Unknown Forest. The film had taken four years to make and received a very positive response from viewers. The nature writer Richard Mabey was hugely impressed and remarked that the film “changed the standards for home-grown wildlife documentaries”. After the film was shown, he was given the nickname “the silent watcher”. The nickname not only stuck, it became the title of his second film. In 1963, Ashby made the first British wildlife film in colour, although it took four years before The Major appeared in its full glory, as the BBC did not broadcast (播放) in colour until 1967. He was awarded the Royal Geographical Society’s Cherry Kearton Medal and Award in 1975 and in 1992 received an MBE. He died, aged 85, on 6 February 2003, but his legacy lives on. 1.What does the underlined word “sparked” mean in Paragraph 2? A.Revived. B.Inspired. C.Assessed. D.Increased. 2.What might lead to the success of his 1961 film? A.Unique scenes and the new medium TV. B.Animal knowledge and new standards. C.The positive response from viewers. D.The recommendation from a nature writer. 3.What can be learned from Paragraph 6? A.The Major took Ashby 4 years to make. B.The Major was not broadcast on BBC. C.The Major was another success for Ashby. D.The Major was the first color film in the UK. 4.What can be a suitable title for the text? A.An Award Winner B.A Silent Watcher C.The Life of a Badger D.The Story in a Forest 【答案】1.B 2.A 3.C 4.B 【导语】本文是一篇记叙文,主要讲的是摄影师Eric Ashby的经历和主要成就,他被称为“沉默的观察者”。 1.词句猜测题。根据第二段“when the wildlife photographer Cherry Kearton came to Southsea, Ashby’s home town, to present a show of his work. The 12-year-old Ashby saw the show and immediately started saving his pocket money to buy a camera for filming wildlife in the nearby New Forest(当时野生动物摄影师Cherry Kearton来到Ashby的家乡Southsea,展示他的作品。12岁的阿什比看到这个节目后,立即开始攒零花钱,买了一台相机,在附近的新森林拍摄野生动物)”可知,他对摄影的兴趣是在哪个时候被激发的,sparked的意思是“激发,启发”,和Inspired意思相近。故选B。 2.推理判断题。根据第三段“It was here that Ashby perfected the techniques that would make him famous through the new medium of television. His patience and technical knowledge allowed him to film badgers at their holes during daylight — the first time this behaviour had ever been captured on camera.(正是在这里,Ashby完善了技术,使他通过电视这种新媒体成名。他的耐心和技术知识使他能够在白天拍摄到獾在洞里的行为——这是第一次被相机捕捉到。)”可知,导致了他1961年的电影的成功的是独特的场景和新媒体电视。故选A。 3.推理判断题。根据第6段“In 1963, Ashby made the first British wildlife film in colour, although it took four years before The Major appeared in its full glory, as the BBC did not broadcast (播放) in colour until 1967.(1963年,Ashby拍摄了英国第一部彩色野生动物电影,尽管The Major花了四年时间才全面上映,因为BBC直到1967年才开始播放彩色电影。)”可知,The Major是Ashby的又一次成功。故选C。 4.主旨大意题。通读全文,尤其是第四段“In 1961, at the age of 43, Ashby finally got his big break, when the BBC showed his 45-minute film The Unknown Forest.(1961年,43岁的Ashby终于迎来了他的重大突破,BBC播放了他45分钟的电影The Unknown Forest。)”和倒数第二段“After the film was shown, he was given the nickname “the silent watcher”. The nickname not only stuck, it became the title of his second film.(电影上映后,他被称为“沉默的观察者”。这个绰号不仅沿用至今,还成为了他第二部电影的片名。)”可知,本文主要讲的是摄影师Eric Ashby的经历和主要成就,他被称为“沉默的观察者”,因此最好的标题是B选项“A Silent Watcher(沉默的观察者)”。故选B。 (五) (内蒙古鄂尔多斯西四旗2022-2023高二下期末联考试题) Most 5-year-olds are just learning to read and write but one little girl from the UK has actually written a book that was published in January, 2022. Bella-Jay Dark from Weymouth is the world’s youngest female to be published and was awarded the title by Guinness World Records. Her book, The Lost Cat tells the story of Snowy, a cat who got lost after going outside alone at night. Bella hopes the book will teach children not to go outside at night alone. While many adult writers find inspiration for their books from life experiences, Bella’s creative vision actually came from one of her drawings. “It started off as a picture. My dad also agreed I could make a book and a story coming from the picture,” Bella told Guinness World Records. Bella’s deciding to write a book wasn’t astounding to her mom, Chelsie Syme, who said that her daughter had been writing short stories since age three. Bella spent around five days writing the story and did all of the illustrations(插图) except for one picture that her older sister Lacie May drew. Syme hadn’t expected the book turned out as well as it did. “I thought it would just be some scribble(涂鸦),” she said. “I didn’t think it was going to go this far. I am so proud and want to see her get the acknowledgement she deserves.” To earn the Guinness World Records’ title of The World’s Youngest Published Author, Female, the book has to be published by a commercial publishing house and have at least 1,000 copies printed and sold. Bella’s book met the criteria (标准). Besides being an accomplished author, Bella is just a regular kid who enjoys reading swimming and playing on her tablet. In her free time, she is currently working on a sequel(续集) to Snowy’s story. 1.What does Bella want to tell children in her book? A.It is not easy to be a story writer. B.It is dangerous for cats to live alone. C.They should take good care of their cats. D.They shouldn’t go outside at night alone. 2.Where did Bella find inspiration for her book? A.From a cat’s daily life. B.From a picture she drew. C.From her father’s advice. D.From her life experiences. 3.What does the underlined word “astounding” in paragraph 4 mean? A.Surprising. B.Embarrassing. C.Moving. D.Inspiring. 4.What do we know about Bella? A.She has no sisters. B.She was born in 2016. C.She will continue to write. D.She doesn’t like swimming. 【答案】1.D 2.B 3.A 4.C 【导语】这是一篇记叙文。文章主要讲述了英国5岁的小女孩Bella写了一本书,名叫《迷路的猫》,讲述了一只名叫白雪的猫在夜里独自外出后迷路的故事。Bella希望这本书能教会孩子们晚上不要独自外出。 1.细节理解题。根据第二段“Bella hopes the book will teach children not to go outside at night alone.(贝拉希望这本书能教会孩子们晚上不要独自外出)”可知,Bella想通过她的书告诉孩子们晚上不应该独自外出。故选D。 2.细节理解题。根据第三段“While many adult writers find inspiration for their books from life experiences, Bella’s creative vision actually came from one of her drawings.(虽然许多成人作家从生活经历中寻找灵感来写书,但贝拉的创意灵感实际上来自她的一幅画)”可知, Bella写书的灵感来自于她的一幅画。故选B。 3.词句猜测题。根据画线词后的“who said that her daughter had been writing short stories since age three.”可知,Bella的妈妈Chelsie Syme说Bella从三岁起就一直在写短故事,所以她对 Bella 决定写书这件事并不感到惊讶。因此,画线词和 Surprising词义相近。故选A。 4.细节理解题。根据最后一段“In her free time, she is currently working on a sequel (续集) to Snowy’s story.(在她的空闲时间,她目前正在创作Snowy故事的续集)”可知,Bella将会继续写作。故选C。 (六) (内蒙古赤峰市2022-2023高二下期末市级联考试题) The day I first came across a harp (竖琴) is a memory stored by all my senses. In contrast to the vivid color in which I recall this first encounter, I still remember my parents faces turning pale when I announced “I’m going to play the harp!” My parents’ faces reflected then financial fears. But they still rented me a little harp and hired a man to teach me. I felt complete every time I played the harp. Then something happened: sheet music. Suddenly I had to learn this foreign language in order to continue to play. What was once an effortless pleasure turned into a constant struggle. My dyslexic (诵读困难的) brain fed on the beauty of the music but fought with the way it was taught. I soon found myself stuck in a love-hate relationship. For my 16th birthday, my parents used their savings to buy me a harp, in the hope that it might settle my relationship with it. But in the weeks that followed the harp exploded. The remains of the harp sat at the bottom of our stairs for several weeks. Eventually, my father and I built a fire to burn it. It felt strange to burn something that once represented so much, and we both sat there staring in silence. My father said “I know you find it hard to read music. But have you ever thought about just playing?” What he said changed everything for me, “Yeah, but I don’t have a harp anymore.” Two weeks later, an old and small harp turned up. I threw away all my music books and started playing by ear and from the heart. All the passion came back. Music is so much more than dots (小圆点) on a page. If you feel it and are excited by it, stick to it. Had I let traditional music teaching techniques put me off playing the harp, I would have lost a part of myself. 1.What was the author’s parents’ reaction to her decision? A.They were excited and hopeful about it B.They purchased her a harp immediately C.They showed concern but agreed to it D.They hesitated over it for a long time 2.What did the author find out about sheet music? A.It took away her enjoyment of playing the harp B.It was beneficial to foreign language learning C.It led to her encountering difficulty in reading D.It was an effective way of appreciating music 3.How did the author feel when the harp was burnt? A.Astonished B.Sorrowful C.Frightened. D.disappointed. 4.What lesson did the author’s experience give her? A.Hard work pays off B.Strike while the iron is hot C.The simplest way is the best way D.Never give up on what you really want to do 【答案】1.C 2.A 3.B 4.D 【导语】这是一篇记叙文。文章讲述了作者弹奏竖琴的经历,这次经历给作者一个启示:一旦你对喜欢的事情有热情,那么就要坚持下去。 1.细节理解题。根据第一段中“I still remember my parents faces turning pale when I announced “I’m going to play the harp!” My parents’ faces reflected then financial fears. But they still rented me a little harp and hired a man to teach me.”(我还记得当我宣布“我要弹竖琴!”时,父母的脸色变得苍白。我父母的脸上反映出当时对经济状况的担忧。但他们还是给我租了一把小竖琴,雇了一个人教我。)可知,对于我要学竖琴的决定,父母脸上的表情表明了他们的担忧,但还是答应我学琴,他们给我租了琴,并且雇了一个人教我。故选C。 2.细节理解题。根据第二段中“Then something happened: sheet music. Suddenly I had to learn this foreign language in order to continue to play. What was once an effortless pleasure turned into a constant struggle. ”(然后发生了一件事:乐谱。突然间,为了能继续弹竖琴,我不得不学习这门“外语”。曾经毫不费力的快乐变成了不断的挣扎。)可知,对于学习乐谱,作者觉得是一种折磨。即学习乐谱带走了作者曾经习惯弹奏竖琴的快乐。故选A。 3.推理判断题。根据倒数第二段中“It felt strange to burn something that once represented so much, and we both sat there staring in silence.”(烧掉曾经如此重要的东西,感觉很奇怪,我们俩坐在那里,沉默地凝视着。)可知,在烧竖琴的时候,我和父亲坐在那里,沉默地凝视着。可推知,对于当时烧掉曾经重要的东西,作者是难过的。故选B。 4.推理判断题。根据最后一段中“If you feel it and are excited by it, stick to it. Had I let traditional music teaching techniques put me off playing the harp, I would have lost a part of myself.”(如果你对它有感觉并且很兴奋,那就坚持下去。如果我让传统的音乐教学方法阻止我弹竖琴,我就会失去一部分的自己。)通过作者的经历,可知,一旦你对喜欢的事情有热情,那么就坚持下去。选项D与文意相符,故选D。 (七) (内蒙古鄂尔多斯四旗联考2021-2022学年高二下期末试题) A blind Chinese climber reached the summit (顶点) of Qomolangma, known in the West as Mount Everest, on Monday morning, becoming the first blind person from Asia ever to conquer the world’s highest summit. Zhang Hong, 46, reached the top from the Nepali side, along with three high-altitude guides. Zhang, who was born in Chongqing, lost his sight at the age of 21. He now works at Fukang Hospital Affiliated with Tibet University in Lhasa. As Zhang began his climb of Qomolangma, which is 8,848. 86 meters above sea level, his colleagues in Lhasa were excited to hear the news of his success. “Many people may have doubted his attempt of climbing at first, but I was confident in him from the beginning,” said Kyila, the secretary of the Fukang Angel Foundation, who also is a blind person. “I knew before that he could make it, and he did make it. I am really happy for him. He is a model for blind people to encourage them to chase their dreams.” Zhang’s passion for climbing was inspired by Lotse, a famous Tibetan climber who conquered all the world’s 14 summits above the altitude of 8,000 meters. Lotse had shared the story of the blind US mountaineer Erik Weihenmayer, who climbed Qomolangma in May 2001. Zhang was touched by the story, which ignited his dream of climbing. As an amateur climber for years, Zhang had conquered three mountains above the altitude of 6,000 meters before climbing the world’s highest summit. He had begun preparing for the Qomolangma climb in 2019. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic (流行病), all mountaineering teams on Qomolangma were canceled in Nepal and China last year, and he had to wait until recently to finally make the attempt. 1.What can we infer from what Kyila said? A.He had been inspired by Lotse. B.He had much belief in Zhang’s success. C.Zhang’s colleagues doubted his motivation. D.Zhang centered on climbing in his spare time. 2.What does the underlined word “ignited” in paragraph 5 mean? A.Lighted. B.Accomplished. C.Followed. (四) (内蒙古通辽市第一中学2023-2024高二下期末试题) Eric Ashby’s fascination with nature began at an early age. A.An Award Winner B.A Silent Watcher C.The Life of a Badger D.The Story in a Forest (五) (内蒙古鄂尔多斯西四旗2022-2023高二下期末联考试题) Most 5-year-olds are just learning to read and write but one little girl from the UK has actually written a book that was published in January, 2022. (六) (内蒙古赤峰市2022-2023高二下期末市级联考试题) The day I first came across a harp (竖琴) is a memory stored by all my senses. A.Hard work pays off B.Strike while the iron is hot C.The simplest way is the best way D.Never give up on what you really want to do (七) (内蒙古鄂尔多斯四旗联考2021-2022学年高二下期末试题) A blind Chinese climber reached the summit (顶点) of Qomolangma, known in the West as Mount Everest, on Monday morning, becoming the first blind person from Asia ever to conquer the world’s highest summit.
