You may also realize that you want to be independent. You choose what to eat for breakfast by yourself. You buy your clothes by yourself. These changes will cause a clash (冲突) between you and your parents. To avoid this, you should talk to them and listen to them. When you talk to your parents, keeping yourself calm is important.

How time flies! My three-year middle school life will come to an end soon. I’d like to say something.
Looking back at the last three years’ middle school life, I’m proud to say that I’ve gained a lot—not only have I gained a lot of knowledge, but also I’ve made many friends and learned how to get along with others. What’s more, I’ve learned to make my own decisions.
Here I’d like to express my thanks to those teachers who have been kind and friendly to us. It’s they who have taught us to share. It’s they who have always been there to listen to us and give us a hand.
Tomorrow we’ll leave here for the new school. We promise to go on working hard and try our best to make greater progress in the new school.
Finally, I wish all of you the best of luck.
Thank you.
Li Hua

Recently I hear many teenagers say that the relationship with their parents is not as good as before. Your point of view on life may greatly be different from that of your parents. Let’s see what you can do to have a good relationship with your parents.
Love and respect your parents. What they have done is good for you. They may often think you should not do something. There must be a good reason. Do not be angry about it or fight with them. Talk to them and find out the reason. Tell them your point of view.

These changes will cause a clash (冲突) between you and your parents. To avoid this, you should talk to them and listen to them. When you talk to your parents, keeping yourself calm is important.
It might take some time for your parents to realize that their little kid is growing up and has his or her own opinions.

It was reported that a Chinese woman tourist had fallen off a cliff (悬崖) and died while posing (摆姿势) for photos on an Indonesia’s famous volcano (火山) on the morning of April 20, 2024.
The 31-year-old woman, named Huang Lihong, and her 32-year-old husband Zhang Yong were on a tour to see the famous “blue fire” volcano, according to Chinese news outlet Hongxing News.
The tour guide brought the couple to the Ijen Crater at around 4 o’ clock in the morning, where they climbed to the edge of the crater (火山口边缘) to watch the sunrise.
The tour guide said he repeatedly warned the couple of great danger by standing near the crater, but Huang insisted on going closer because she had seen photos taken by her friends in the same place.
Huang had first chosen to take the photos about two to three metres away from the crater. Then she stepped backward, hoping to get closer to a tree behind her for a better shot. Unluckily, she reportedly tripped (绊倒) over the long skirt that she was wearing, losing her balance and falling off the cliff.
Indonesian police said Huang fell off a cliff with a height of about 75 meters and was found dead at the scene.
