Teaching process Step 1: Lead-in 1. The teacher asks students to look at the pictures or watch a video about storms. 2. The teacher inquires about students’ feelings and experiences regarding storms, guiding them into the subject. (设计目的:通过视觉刺激激发学生的好奇心和兴趣,为后续的语言学习活动做好情感准备。) Step 2: Think and complete 1. The teacher shows the picture in 2a, and asks students what the man in the picture is doing. 2. The teacher asks students to complete the passage with the correct forms of the words in brackets. 3. The teacher guide s students to read the passage in 2a together and analyze the structure and language of the passage. Step 3: Let's draw The teacher asks students to draw a picture of some people experiencing a heavy storm or another type of weather.
