Unit 8 Once upon a Time Section A What are your favourite stories?(1a -Pronunciation 2 ) 【教学分析】 教学内容 学习《狮子和老鼠》的故事,谈论自己真欢的故事。 学习字母h相关组合的发音规则。 核心素养 1、学生能够识别并讲述图片中的经典故事。 2.学生能够听懂对话内容,并按顺序排列句子,理解故事情节。 3.学生能够选择正确的词汇完成句子,并回答与对话相关的问题。 4.学生能够复述自己喜欢的故事,并表达个人喜好及原因。 5.学生能够掌握并正确发音包含特定辅音群(ch,ph,sh,t,wh)的单词, 重点难点 重点:理解对话内容,识别并讲述经典故事。 难点:复述故事并表达个人喜好及原因,正确发音特定辅音群的单词。 【教学过程】 Step 1 Lead-in Greet the class and ask students : Do you like stories? What's your favourite story? Can you tell us an English story? Step 2 Work on la Show the pictures in la and ask , “ Do you know what stories these pictures are about?Encourage students to share their answers. Step 3 Work on 1b l. Tell the class : We will listen to a story. Read the sentences in 1b and guess which picture in la is related to the story. ( Picture B) Have you heard of the story? Can you tell us the story 2. Play the first conversation and ask students to listen carefully. Then ask them to put them in the correct order. 3. Discuss the answers with the class and ensure everyone understands the story. The answers are:5.4.3.1.2. 4. Practise reading the listening scripts and explain any questions students don't understand. Step 4 Work on 1c 1. Tell the class : We will listen to another story. Please read the sentences in le and guess which picture in 1 a is related to this story. ( Picture D) Have you heard of the story? Tell us the story. If you can't tell it in English , you can tell it in Chinese. 2. Play the second conversation and ask students to choose the correct words to complete the sentences in lc. 3. Review the answers and clarify any misunderstandings. The answers are: (1)A(2)C(3)C(4)B. Step 5 Work on ld 1, Tell the class : Listen to the two conversations again and answer the questions in 1d. First read the questions. 2. Play the two conversations again and ask students to answer the questions in 1d. Allow students to share their answers and discuss their reasoning, Each question may have more than one answer. Step 6 Work on le 1. Ask students to choose which story they like more and retell it to a partner. Encourage them to use their own words and add personal details. 2. Invite a few pairs to share their retellings with the class. Step 7 Work on Pronunciation 1-2 1. Explain how to pronounce the letter “ h” groups:“ ch, ph, sh, th , wh” and give each some examples. 2. Play the recording for Pronunciation 1 and ask students to listen and repeat. Then ask them to add one more word to each group containing the specified consonant cluster. 3. Pair students up and ask them to read the conversation aloud slowly. Then listen to the recording again and read it at a normal speed, paying attention to the sound changes of the bold letters. Step 8 Summary Recap the day's lesson and emphasize the importance of listening, speaking, and pronunciation. Step Homework Assign students to retell one of the stories they learnt today to a family member and practise the pronunciation of the consonant clusters. 【随堂作业】 根据句意及首字母或汉语提示填写单词。 1.
