Four ideas for the best Easter holidays
When the kids breakup from school it can be difficult to choose what to do. With the Easter holidays just around the comer, here are four different ideas to inspire you to make the most of the break, whatever your age.

Botany Bay
Botany Bay is a great spot to spend a day relaxing and playing on the sands. There are also wonderful museums, amazing parks for picnics and games, and even a surf centre nearby. Shop. eat, play — whatever you fancy doing, Bristol has it all.
Snowdonla
Head to North Wales if you’re after some wild adventures. There are plenty of hills, lakes, rivers, and benches to explore, but if your kids have a lot of energy to burn, then Mount Snowdon should be your choice. Standing 1,085 metres tall, it’s sure to provide an exciting adventure for the whole family. Local guides are available to lead you to the top, if you wish.

Medha Pappula, an eighth-grader at Brambleton Middle School, is using her skill set to solve a problem — bullying(霸凌). She recently earned an award (获奖) from National Bullying Prevention Center (NBPC) for her anti-bullying efforts in software development and animation (动画).
Pappula 13, said she discovered that a classmate had experienced cyberbullying(网络霸凌), which was painful for her to learn about. “Even though I didn’t experience it, I wouldn’t wish that on anyone, even my worst enemy,” Pappula said.
Then she developed a program that recognizes when digital and text-based messages include bullying language. The program takes a message, and then recognizes signs of bullying and gives a rating to the cyberbullying, the teen said. If the rating is high, she said, “the program can be used to carry out things like removing that message or reporting it.”
Pappula first designed and tested the program for Discord, a popular community-based messaging platform (平台), and said she plans to develop it for even bigger platforms like Facebook and Twitter.
In addition to this program the NBPC awarded Pappula for a three-minute animated video about Unity Day, which she created and shared on YouTube last October. Unity Day, according to the video, was started by the NBPC in 2011 to raise bullying awareness among school-age children. Schools encourage their students to wear orange on Unity Day, as it is “a color that is connected with safety,” the website reads.
Pappula visited different websites to develop her animation skills several years ago. She spent more than a month creating her 2-D animated video using an animation software called Krita. The effort paid off, as nearly 6,000 people have already viewed the “Unity Day” video on YouTube. Along with being posted to the NBPC webpage, her animation was also shared by Cartoon Network. Moving forward, Pappula hopes to continue to work with the NBPC and to use her skills to lift those around her.
7. How did Pappula feel about bullying?
A. It upset her life a lot. B. It could be stopped easily.
C. It happened online most often. D. It shouldn’t happen to anyone.
8. How does Pappula’s program work?
A. By sending voice messages.
B. By removing useless messages.
C. By sending its users important reports.
D. By grading messages according to the language used.
9. What did Pappula do to make the animated video?
A She asked the NBPC for help. B. She taught herself animation.
C. She learned from an expert. D. She created Krita.
10. Which word can best describe Pappula?
A. Honest. B. Caring. C. Polite. D. Proud.

Version1 分析现状(包括我使用的情况)+我的建议
AI and Our Study
Nowadays, AI has become an inseparable part of study, reshaping how students learn and interact with knowledge. Many students rely on ChatGPT, Deepseek to solve math problems, practice languages, or organize study schedules. However, this convenience comes with challenges, such as over-dependence and ethical concerns about originality in work.
In my daily study routine, I use AI tools wisely. I rely on apps to improve writing accuracy and brainstorm essay ideas. However, I avoid over-dependence by cross-checking AI suggestions with textbooks or teacher feedback. My advice? Embrace AI as a supporter, not a replacement. Balance technology with critical thinking, and always prioritize understanding over shortcuts. AI can lighten the load, but true learning still requires your effort and curiosity.
Only by blending AI’s efficiency with human creativity can we unlock greater academic potential
Version2 分析现状(客观环境)+我的观点+建议
AI and Our Study
As a high school student, I have noticed that AI is increasingly being used in our study. Many online learning platforms now incorporate AI to provide personalized study plans and real-time feedback.
In my opinion, the use of AI in study has both advantages and challenges. On one hand, it can adapt to our individual learning styles and paces, making learning more efficient. It can also offer immediate help and explanations when we encounter difficulties. However, there are also concerns. For example, over-reliance on AI might reduce our ability to think independently.
To make the best of AI in our study, we should use it as a tool to assist us, but not rely on it completely. We still need to develop our own critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I believe that with the right approach, AI can greatly enhance our learning experience and help us achieve better academic results.
Version3 分析现状(大家还不怎么会用)+我的建议
AI And Our Study
In our school, AI is not yet a part of our daily study. Although it’s widely discussed, most students, including me, haven’t used it in learning, mainly because we lack the know-how.
However, I believe AI can bring huge benefits to our study. For instance, AI-powered language learning apps can offer instant translations and grammar checks, helping us improve language skills. Also, intelligent study planners can arrange personalized study schedules according to our weaknesses.
To make the most of AI, I suggest the school organize training sessions to teach us how to use AI tools safely and effectively. This way, we can leverage AI to enhance our learning efficiency.
