It's the first history book that has ever got my attention. The reason why the book is so popular among the reader, namely lies in its writing style. The author turns history into a story SHE gives them with the description of historical figures or events. Her language is easy to understand. Meanwhile, the author has tried her best to achieve factual accuracy in order to check the facts. SHE has referred to many academic history books in the book. Different views on the same event have been considered, similar events have been compared. The book also gives a lot of thoughts, comments on some events. The author has even inspired me to do more research on certain topics i've never been so eager to read up on history. A few years ago, there was a trend towards reading popular science books, and they got lots of people interested in the subject. I believe the same is happening to the subject of history. I'm looking forward to reading more popular history books like a journey back to the tank dynasty.
