1.Kindness is never wasted.:
2.Unlucky things may turn out well. And good things could go wrong too.:不幸的事情可能会有好的结果,好事也可能会出问题。
3.Honesty is the best policy.:诚实为上策。
4.Never judge from appearances.:
5.Where there is a will, there is a way.:有志者事竟成。
6.A friend in need is a friend indeed.:
7.Appearances can be deceiving.:
8.It's never too late to change.:
9.Honesty is the foundation of trust.:
10.Courage is what it takes to stand up for the truth.:
The Fisherman and the Little Fish《
There once was a fisherman who lived in a little house by the ocean. He fished every day to feed his family. One day, he caught nothing except one small fish. "This isn't much," thought the fisherman, "but it's better than nothing." The little fish hopped around in the net and cried out to the fisherman. "Please return me to the water!" he said. "I'm too small to be a good dinner. Someday, I'll be big and fat. You could catch me then and feed your family for a week!" The fisherman listened as the fish spoke. He knew his family would love a big, fat fish. But he also knew that the ocean was very big. If he threw the fish back, he would never find it again. "Little fish," he said, "I would be a fool to put you back. You'll only be a small meal for my family, but at least they will have food. I cannot feed them with silly dreams!"
The Emperor's New Clothes《
Many years ago, there was an Emperor, who was so excessively fond of new clothes, that he spent all his money in dress. He did not trouble himself in the least about his soldiers; nor did he care to go either to the theatre or the chase, except for the opportunities then afforded him for displaying his new clothes. He had a different suit for each hour of the day; and as of any other king or emperor, one is accustomed to say, “he is sitting in council,” it was always said of him, “The Emperor is sitting in his wardrobe.”
The Ugly Duckling《
It is sunny and warm. Mother Duck is near the river. She has three eggs. They are small. Look! Now there are three small eggs and a big egg. Mother Duck sits on the eggs. Three eggs open. The ducklings are small and yellow. Oh, my lovely babies! I love you! The big egg opens later. The duckling is big and grey. He is ugly. Mother Duck swims. The three yellow ducklings sit on her back. The ugly duckling swims behind them. The three yellow ducklings play together. They are happy. The ugly duckling is sad. He swims away. In winter, it is cold. The ugly duckling has no home. It is spring again. The ugly duckling is in the grass. He sees two big swans. “Hello! Come and play.” “I'm an ugly duckling.” “No! You're a beautiful swan.” The ugly duckling looks into the water. He is a beautiful swan! Yes, I'm a beautiful swan!
The Lion and the Mouse《
A lion was sleeping under a tree. A little mouse was playing around the lion. Suddenly the lion woke up. “Who woke me up? I will eat you.” The lion opened his mouth and caught the mouse. “If you let me go, I will help you someday,” said the mouse. “You? I'm a lion. You're just a mouse,” laughed the lion. “What can you do?” “OK, I'll let you go.” The mouse ran away. The next day, the lion was trapped in a net. The mouse saw it and ran to the lion. He bit through the net and set the lion free. “Thank you. You saved my life,” said the lion. From that day on, the lion and the mouse became best friends.
01:Mend the fold after a sheep is lost
Once upon a time, there was a shepherd who had a flock of sheep. One morning, when he went to check on his sheep, he noticed that one of them was missing. After a careful inspection, he found that there was a hole in the sheep pen, and he realized that a wolf had come in during the night and taken a sheep.
His neighbor, upon hearing about the incident, advised him, "You should fix the hole in the pen right away, or more sheep will be lost." But the shepherd thought, "The sheep is already gone. What's the use of fixing the pen now?" So he ignored his neighbor's advice.
The next day, to his dismay, he discovered that another sheep was missing. The wolf had come back through the same hole. The shepherd was filled with regret. "I should have listened to my neighbor," he thought.
Without delay, he repaired the hole in the sheep pen and made it sturdy. From that day on, no more sheep were lost to the wolf.

Once upon a time, a fierce tiger was hunting for food in the forest. After a long search, he finally spotted a fox. With a mighty pounce, the tiger caught the fox.
The fox, feeling the danger, quickly thought of a plan. "How dare you catch me!" the fox exclaimed with a haughty air. "Don't you know that I am sent by Heaven to be the king of all the beasts? If you eat me, you will surely be punished by Heaven."
The tiger was a bit suspicious. Seeing this, the fox added, "If you don't believe me, just follow me and see how all the other animals react when they see me."
The tiger decided to follow the fox. As they walked through the forest, all the animals saw them. When they saw the tiger, they were so frightened that they ran away immediately. The tiger didn't realize that the animals were scared of him, not the fox. He actually believed that the fox was really the king of the beasts.
So, the fox managed to save his life by using the tiger's might, walking in the tiger's company and showing off his "power" among the animals.
