Shackleton was a brave, determined, and compassionate leader. He showed exceptional resilience and optimism during the Antarctic expedition, always prioritizing his crew's safety over personal glory. His ability to remain calm in crises and inspire hope in others made him extraordinary. 3. What qualities of Shackleton make you trust him or not trust him? His unwavering courage, selflessness, and strong leadership make him trustworthy. He never gave up, even in extreme adversity, and put his men first. However, some might distrust his risky decisions, like attempting the impossible journey to South Georgia. 4. What impressed you most about the story? What can we learn from it?
