You’re probably heard of people talking or even walking in their sleep—and not remembering anything about it when they wake up. But do you know that some people also eat in their sleep? Sleep eaters usually don’t remember it either when they wake up.
Eating, walking or talking in your sleep are all sleep disorders (失调). But sleep eating is very rare (罕见的), and not as common as sleepwalking.
Sleep eaters can eat several times in one night, even if they aren’t really hungry. They may also eat things that are not food. Sleep eating can make them feel tired during the day, and take away their appetite (食欲) for meals. It can be dangerous too. Some sleep eaters even cook. They might start a fire or cut themselves when using kitchen knives.
Why does sleep eating happen? People may have it if they aren’t getting enough sleep. For some people, too much stress (压力) or the medicine they are taking might be the reason. People will probably have it if they sleepwalk.

The sun gives us light and warmth; the earth is where we live the moon shines (发光) at night. They are important in our lives. But do you know that sometimes they create special events in the sky like solar and lunar eclipses (日食和月食)?
Imagine a round table and the run sitting at the centre of it. Think of the earth going around the table! Now, imagine another table nearby, with the earth sitting in the middle and the moon going around it. This is how the earth and the moon move.
Sometimes, the earth is between the sun and the moon. When this happens, sunlight cannot reach the moon, and the moon becomes dark! What do we call it? Yes, a lunar eclipse! Then how often do these eclipses happen? Usually, there are two lunar or solar eclipses each year. Five can happen, but this is rare. The last time five lunar eclipses happened in one year was in 1879; the next time will be in 2132. Only about 25 years in the past 5,000 years have had five solar eclipses. The last time this happened was in 1935, and the next time will be in 2206.

Hong Kong is a wonderful city. It opens its arms to visitors from all over the world. The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) started the Hong Kong Pals program to help visitors. This program also brought together many volunteers from Hong Kong.
Marco Kwok is one of the volunteers. He enjoys sharing his knowledge with visitors, so he gets into the program. “I tell visitors about Hong Kong, and I learn from their culture too. It is a great way for everyone to grow,” he said.
Tam is another volunteer. She once helped an old man who was born in Hong Kong. He went to the UK when he was 5.
