Space scientists have been greatly inspired (赋予灵感) by the old stories and ancient famous people when giving them names. Since thousands of years ago, Chinese people have dreamed of going to the moon. Change Flies to the Moon is one of the most popular stories. As you can see, China’s first man-made satellite to circle around the moon was named Chang’ e l. More interestingly, the moon rover (巡视器) was named after the Jade Rabbit, who is the partner of Chang’e in the story. These old stories carry people’s best wishes and dreams. With the development of science and technology, our scientists have made them come true. Kua Fu Runs After the Sun is another story to show how much ancient Chinese people wanted to know about the unknown world. Now, Kua Fu is going with the scientists to “visit” the sun, because we have a space project called Kua Fu Mission. Besides the ancient stories, space scientists also get ideas from ancient famous people. For example, Mozi, an ancient scientist, discovered that light travels in a straight line over 2, 000 years ago. His discovery made space study take a big step at that time. So, China’s first quantum (量子) science satellite was named Mozi, making China the first country in the world to achieve quantum communication between satellites and the ground. From such simple things as giving names to the satellites, we can see how great our traditional culture is and what influence (影响) it has on our modern science and technology. 1.In China, space scientists get ideas from ________ when naming satellites. ① old stories ②traditional projects ③ancient famous people ④popular inventions A.①② B.①③ C.②④ D.③④ 2.How does the writer support his opinion in Paragraph 4? A.By listing numbers. B.By comparing facts. C.By giving an example. D.By reporting a result. 3.Which is the structure of the text? (①= Paragraph 1②= Paragraph 2, … ) A. B. C. D. 4.What is the text mainly about? A.How to develop our space industry. B.Why to spread the traditional Chinese culture. C.Achievements we have made in science and technology. D.Traditional Chinese culture influencing our space science 【答案】1.B 2.C 3.A 4.D 【导语】本文是一篇议论文。主要讨论了中国在给卫星命名时从古代故事和古代名人中获得灵感,并以此来说明中国传统文化对现代科学技术的影响。 1.细节理解题。根据“Space scientists have been greatly inspired (赋予灵感) by the old stories and ancient famous people when giving them names.”、“China’s first man-made satellite to circle around the moon was named Chang’ e l.”和“For example, Mozi, an ancient scientist, discovered that light travels in a straight line over 2, 000 years ago. His discovery made space study take a big step at that time.”可知,科学家们在命名卫星时依据了古老的故事和古代的名人。故选B。 2.推理判断题。根据“For example, Mozi, an ancient scientist,...So, China’s first quantum (量子) science satellite was named Mozi”可知,作者给了墨子这颗量子科学卫星的例子来支持他的观点。故选C。 3.篇章结构题。从文章结构来看,第一段是总述,第二段到第四段分别讲述不同的例子来进一步说明主题,第五段再次总结,文章是“总—分—总”结构。故选A。 4.主旨大意题。根据“From such simple things as giving names to the satellites, we can see how great our traditional culture is and what influence (影响) it has on our modern science and technology.”可知,整篇文章围绕传统文化如何影响现今的航天科学这一主题展开。故选D。 Passage 2 (2025·河北承德·一模)Since ancient times, people have looked up at the stars, telling stories of wonder and dreaming of exploring space. China, with its long history and rich culture, is not different. China has made great progress in space exploration. It has found inspiration (灵感) in its old stories to name its satellites and spacecraft. This connects the past with the future. One well-known story in Chinese is about the Monkey King, Sun Wukong. He is brave, clever, and always curious. Sun Wukong can travel anywhere in the world with just one jump, showing the adventurous spirit of China’s space program. So, it’s no surprise that China’s powerful space telescope, which looks deep into space, is named “Sun Wukong”. This name honors the Monkey King’s space adventures and shows China’s desire to discover the space. Another hero from ancient tales is Yu the Great. He is known for controlling floods and starting the Xia Dynasty. Yu’s hard work in managing waters reflects the courage and creativity needed in space exploration. Therefore, a group of Chinese satellites that help monitor and manage water from space are called “Yu” satellites. These naming choices are not just symbols. They show a deep respect for tradition that knowledge and dreams continue through generations. By naming their spacecraft after the classical characters and stories, Chinese space scientists are honoring their cultural roots and showing their hope to use modern technology to achieve ancient dreams of understanding the space. China’s space program, through its creative naming, puts traditional culture into today’s scientific efforts. It shows how the wisdom, courage, and imagination of the past guide us as we explore the unknown world. As China reaches for the stars, it stays rooted in its rich history while confidently moving towards the future. 1.In China, where do space scientists get inspiration when naming satellites? Eating in space If you go camping for more than a week with some friends, you will make sure you have plenty of foods and keep them properly. At the end of your camping trip, you would deal with your rubbish properly before the ride home. Astronauts almost do the same thing when they go to space. Preparation changes with the food type. Some foods can be eaten in their natural forms, such as chocolate cakes and fruits. Other foods require adding water, such as cheese. Of course, an oven is provided at the space station to heat the food. But there are no fridges, so space food must be kept properly. Sleeping in space After a long day at work, nothing is better than a good night’s sleep! Just like on the earth, in space astronauts go to bed at a certain time, then get up and prepare for work again. When going to sleep, they have to attach themselves, so they don’t float (漂浮) around or hit their bodies against something. They usually use sleeping bags located in small crew cabins (乘员舱). Each crew cabin is just big enough for one person. Generally, astronauts have an eight-hour sleep each day when they finish their task. Doing sports in space Exercise is an important part of every astronaut’s daily life to prevent muscle loss (肌肉萎缩). Usually, astronauts exercise two hours every day. Lifting 200 pounds on the earth maybe a lot of work. But lifting that same object in space would be much easier. That means the things for exercise need to be specially designed, so astronauts can receive the exercise needed. Living in space is not just all work and no play. Astronauts have fun, too. They like to look out the window and play with their food. Fun plays an important role in the quality of their life. 1.Which food can’t be brought to the space? A.Apples. B.Chocolate cakes. C.Ice-cream. D.Cheese. 2.Why do astronauts play sports in space? A.To have fun. B.To keep healthy. C.To sleep well. D.To prevent muscle loss. 3.What’s the passage mainly about? A.The life in space. B.The food in space. C.The work in space. D.The sports in space. 【答案】1.C 2.D 3.A 【导语】本文主要介绍了宇航员在太空的日常生活。 1.细节理解题。根据Eating in space下面的“But there are no fridges, so space food must be kept properly.”可知,太空中不能带冰激凌。故选C。 2.细节理解题。根据Doing sports in space下面的“Exercise is an important part of every astronaut’s daily life to prevent muscle loss.”可知,宇航员在太空做运动是为了防止肌肉萎缩。故选D。 3.主旨大意题。通读全文可知,本文主要介绍了宇航员在太空中的日常生活。故选A。 火星探索与人工智能 Passage 1 (2025·内蒙古·一模)At the year’s Boao Forum for Asia (博鳌亚洲论坛), experts expressed excitement about the potential (潜力) of AI. Zhang Keke, director of the Macau Institute of Space Technology and Application, said that Mars could become a planet which is suitable for humans to live on with the help of AI. “Mars used to have water and an environment just like the earth. I believe in the future humans could improve the environment on Mars through AI technology, making it have air and water again, so that humans can live there,” Zhang said. “It may not be science fiction. If this happens, it will solve many troubles faced by humans, such as the shortage of land. That is why humans have been exploring the moon and other planets for many years.” All kinds of ideas have been come up with by many scientists to recreate the magnetic field (磁场) of Mars. When there is a magnetic field, it acts like an umbrella and stops solar wind, allowing the environment to become suitable for the development of water, air and human life. Actually, China is already on this way. Tianwen-1 probe landed on Mars as early as 2021. This was the first time that China has carried out an exploration of the magnetic field on Mars. “China’s exploring of Mars will be further sped up with the development of AI,” Zhang said. “In 2028, China will launch a second spacecraft called Tianwen-3, which will take samples (样本) from Mars and bring them back to the earth. So I feel that with powerful tools like AI and machine learning methods, humans will greatly increase the speed of exploration of resources on Mars, and especially on the moon, in the future.” 1.In Zhang’s opinion, what is the main purpose of using AI in Mars exploration? A.To find life on Mars. B.To bring back water from Mars. C.To achieve the goal of landing on Mars. D.To create an earth-like living environment. 2.Why do we need to recreate the magnetic field of Mars? A.It can create more land. B.It can collect more sunlight. C.It can reduce the bad weather. D.It can help humans live on Mars. 3.What’s Zhang’s attitude towards AI in space exploration? A.Shocked. B.Worried. C.Confident. D.Doubtful. 4.What’s the main idea of the passage? A.AI shows science fiction. B.AI will help humans explore Mars. C.Mars is suitable for humans. D.Humans will recreate the magnetic field. 根据“I believe in the future humans could improve the environment on Mars through AI technology, making it have air and water again, so that humans can live there”及“If this happens, it will solve many troubles faced by humans, such as the shortage of land. More interestingly, the moon rover (探测器) was named after the Jade Rabbit, who is the partner of Chang’e in the story. These old stories carry people’s best wishes and dreams. With the development of science and technology, our scientists have made them come true. Kua Fu Runs After the Sun is another old folk story. Now, Kua Fu is going with the scientists to “visit” the sun, because we have a space project called Kua Fu Mission. Besides the ancient stories, space scientists also get ideas from ancient famous people. For example, Mozi, an ancient scientist, discovered that light travels in a straight line over 2,000 years ago. His discovery made space study take a big step at that time. So, China’s first quantum (量子) science satellite was named Mozi, making China the first country in the world to achieve quantum communication between satellites and the ground. From such simple things as giving names to the satellites, we can see how great our traditional culture is and what influence it has on our modern science and technology. 1.How many old stories in China are mentioned in the passage? A.1. B.3. C.2. D.4. 2.Which is the right structure of the passage? (①= Paragraph 1 ②= Paragraph 2, …) A.①//②③④//⑤ B.①//②//③④⑤ C.①//②③④⑤ D.①//②③//④⑤ 3.What’s the writer’s main purpose of writing the passage? A.To spread traditional Chinese culture. A.introduce China’s Tiangong space station B.tell us the lives of the astronauts in space C.invite people to travel to the space station D.describe the difficulties of living in space Passage 2 (24-25九年级·安徽芜湖·自主招生)Have you ever imagined the life in space? The following will show you the astronauts’ daily life. 火星探索与人工智能 Passage 1 (2025·内蒙古·一模)At the year’s Boao Forum for Asia (博鳌亚洲论坛), experts expressed excitement about the potential (潜力) of AI.
