你认识那个正在游泳池里游泳的男孩吗? 2.动词­ing形式作定语,表示被修饰词的动作或状态,与被修饰词之间是主动关系,动词­ing形式相当于一个定语从句。 The boy playing football on the playground is my younger brother. =The boy that/who is playing football on the playground is my younger brother. 在操场上踢足球的那个男孩是我的弟弟。 The girl performing on the stage has a gift for dance. =The girl who is performing on the stage has a gift for dance. 在舞台上表演的那个女孩有舞蹈天赋。 (二)动词­ing形式作定语的位置 1.单个动词­ing形式作定语,常置于被修饰的名词之前。有些动词­ing形式已转化为形容词,表示“令人……的”。 He told us some inspiring stories about the winners of the Nobel Physics Prize. 他向我们讲述了一些关于诺贝尔物理学奖获得者的励志故事。 2.动词­ing形式短语作定语,常置于被修饰的名词之后。 The students running along the street are from No.3 Middle School. 沿街跑步的学生来自第三中学。 动词­ing形式的被动式、过去分词和动词不定式的被动式作定语的区别 语法 含义 例句 动词­ing形式的被动式作定语(being done) 表示被动动作正在发生 The problem being discussed at the meeting now is very important. 会上正在讨论的问题非常重要。 过去分词作定语(done) 表示被动动作已经完成 The problem discussed at the meeting yesterday is very important. 昨天会上讨论过的问题非常重要。 动词不定式的被动式作定语(to be done) 表示被动动作将要发生 The problem to be discussed at the meeting of tomorrow is very important. 明天会上将要讨论的问题非常重要。 [即时训练1] 单句语法填空 ①Tom received a phone call from his mother saying (say) that she would visit him this weekend. ②The houses being built (build) now are for the people from the flood­stricken area. ③For the 10th Anniversary of Youth,as a fan of Youth,I want to share my reading (read) experience. ④The young man sitting (sit) between John and Mary is a college graduate from the Tsinghua University. ⑤The sleeping (sleep) baby is my sister's son,who is so lovely that we all love him. 二、动词­ing形式作表语 1.动词­ing形式作表语,具体说明主语的内容,与主语通常是对等的关系,即主语等同于表语,两者可互换。 What worries me most is her staying up too late every night. =Her staying up too late every night is what worries me most. 最使我担心的是她每天都熬夜到很晚。 His task now is decorating the newly built city hall. =Decorating the newly built city hall is his task now. 他现在的任务就是装饰这座新建的市政大厅。 2.动词­ing形式作表语,表示主语的性质、特征和状态,其作用相当于形容词,主语和表语的位置不可互换。 Taking pictures of polar bears is amazing but also dangerous. 拍北极熊的照片很令人惊叹,但也是很危险的。 What should be stressed is the dragon­boat racing,which is very interesting and exciting. 应该强调的是龙舟赛,这是非常有趣且激动人心的。 1.动词­ing形式与动词不定式作表语的区别 (1)动词­ing形式作表语表示抽象的、一般性的动作。 His hobby is painting. 他的爱好是画画。(一般性的动作) (2)动词不定式作表语表示一次具体的动作或将要发生的事。 My wish is to find a part­time job this summer. 我的愿望是今年夏天能找到一份兼职工作。(将要发生的事) 2.感觉类及物动词的动词­ing形式与过去分词作表语的区别 英语中有很多与感觉有关的及物动词,其动词­ing形式表示主动意义,即“令人有某种感觉的”,多用来修饰物;其过去分词表示被动意义,即“人被引起某种感觉的”,多用来修饰人。 I was deeply moved by his moving words. 我被他那动人的话语深深地打动了。 The situation is encouraging which made many people encouraged. 形势很令人鼓舞,这使得很多人受到鼓舞。 [即时训练2] 单句语法填空 ①Only a few people show no interest in classic,thinking they are boring (bore) and hard to understand. ②From seeing the wildlife to witnessing sunrises,the whole experience was amazing (amaze). ③John's bad habit is reading (read) without thorough understanding. ④Everybody was excited to hear the news,which was very exciting .(excite) 教材原句:It was great fun walking along the streets,enjoying the relaxing atmosphere! 沿着街道散步,享受着放松的氛围是一件很有趣的事情![句式分析] It's great fun doing sth做某事很有趣 have fun (doing sth) (做某事)玩得开心 for fun=for the fun of it 为了好玩 make fun of 取笑 [即时训练] 完成句子 ① It's great fun going out for a picnic on a warm spring day. 在一个温暖的春日出去野餐是非常有趣的。 ②There are a variety of theme parks in the world, where you can have fun . 世界上有各种各样的主题公园,在那里你可以开心游玩。 ③My mother entered the local flower show just for fun and won the first place. 我妈妈为了好玩参加当地的花展并获得了第一名。 用动词的适当形式填空 1.Last night,there were millions of people watching (watch) the opening ceremony live on TV. 2.The children were playing in the swimming (swim) pool when a shark appeared. 3.An interesting and rewarding experience is travelling (travel) along the Silk Road. 4.One of his bad habits is smoking (smoke) while having dinner. 5.Her dream is to become (become) a good navigator and sailing around the world. $$
