Here are reviews about some famous movies written by four kids. Let’s take a look.
Lily: The 3D technology is amazing. But that’s the only nice thing I like about this film. I’m unsure whether or not the story will reach the audience’s heart, or if they’ll enjoy it. I didn't.
Avatar: The Way of Water
Jack: It’s a film about the world’s people united against disasters (灾难). It tells us not to give up anyone and never lose hope. This is a science fiction movie that could rank among the top in the world.
The Wandering Earth II
Mary: Truly love this movie, so touching and such a beautiful story. I was touched and cried. I’ve never cried over movies! Channing did a fantastic job, the dog was amazing, and this is a story that needs more attention.
Dog
Kevin: The best movie I’ve seen so far. I highly doubt I’ll see anything better, more exciting or more creative. It’s so funny and special that I think everybody should give it a shot. Enjoy it!

Last year, I lived in Chile for half a year as an exchange student with the American Field Service. I lived with a Chilean family and had the responsibilities of any Chilean teenager. I had good days and bad days I didn’t understand.
Chuquicamata, my host community, is a mining camp. When I arrived there, I was scared. It was so different from what I was used to. There were lots of dogs on the streets, and there was no downtown, few smoothly paved streets, and little to do for entertainment. Rain was not seen very often, earthquakes and windstorms were frequent.
I had studied Spanish for two and a half years and was always one of the best students in my class. But in my first week in Chile I was only able to communicate and needed one person to whom I could explain my shock. I couldn’t speak the thoughts in my head and there were so many.
Most exchange students experience this like me. Culture shock presents itself in everything from increased aggression(侵略性) towards the people to lack of appetite(食欲). I was required to overcome all difficulties.
As time passed, everything changed. I began to forget the words in English and to dream in Spanish and love Chilean food. I got used to not depending on expensive things for fun. Fun in Chuquicamata was being with people. And I took math , physics, chemistry, biology, Spanish, art, and philosophy.
But the sacrifices were nothing compared to the gain. I learned how to accept and to succeed in another culture. I now have a deeper understanding of both myself and others.

When I was in the sixth grade,my teacher asked our class the question, "What does 'doing the right thing' mean to you?" She asked us to think about it over the weekend, and to talk to anyone else we thought might have a good answer. By Monday,we were to hand in an article on it,and get prepared to live up to our answers.
The whole weekend,I tried to come up with something that would impress my teacher and be easy to do. I talked to my parents, called my grandmother, and asked my next door neighbor. Everyone had good answers, but I didn't feel like I could do them.
On Sunday afternoon my parents took me to my Aunt Cindy's house. After dinner,my parents told me to play with my four﹣year﹣old cousin Andrea while they were away. I turned on the television and found a Disney movie for Andrea, and then I sat down and started to write my article. I still know what I was going to write about. Soon I felt a pair of eyes on me.It was Andrea.
"What are you doing,Daisy?" she asked.
"I have to write an article about what doing the right thing means to me," I answered .Andrea laughed. "That's easy," she said.
"Okay,tell me the answer,"I said.
"Doing the right thing means:Being nice to your family and friends. Doing what your mum says. Never lie. Take a bath when you're dirty. Don't waste water and electricity."
I looked at Andrea amazingly. Not only had she answered a very difficult question for me,but I could easily follow all of her rules. And all I had to do was to be nice. So when I wrote my article,I included the story about Andrea.
Two weeks later,my teacher returned everyone's articles. I received an A along with a little note my teacher had written: "Always do the right thing﹣and give Andrea an A+,too!"

The arrival of ChatGPT will push educators to focus more on teaching subjects that technology is not good at, an education expert said.
Andreas Schleicher, director of education and skills for the Organization of Economic Co-operation and Development, said, “The world no longer rewards you just for what you know. Baidu knows everything. The world rewards you for what you can do with what you know, and I think ChatGPT pushes us to work harder on this.”
If students are only as smart as a smartphone, it means educators are not doing enough, he said. People should focus on developing human skills, such as imagination and creativity, he said.
The arrival of AI (artificial intelligence) really pushes people to think hard about what education is and the purpose it serves, he added. While search engines such as Google or Baidu simply offer knowledge, ChatGPT goes a step further and analyzes (分析) a search before providing a single answer.
Schleicher said he thinks the chatbot will become a very powerful tool in the development of education. He added that young people should learn to understand the algorithms (计算机算法).
“If you do not understand an algorithm, you will soon become the victim of that algorithm,” he said, “There’s a great risk that we’ll just follow the answers that we get from ChatGPT rather than question it and create new knowledge. A very important purpose for education is to tell fact from opinion.”
As a tool, ChatGPT is going to make learning much more interesting and powerful, but as a purpose, humans need to work very hard to win that race with technology, he added.
27.What does the underlined word “it” in Paragraph 4 refers to?
A. AI. B. Education.
C. ChatGPT. D. Knowledge.
28. Which of the following may the writer agree?
A. It is good enough if students are as smart as a smartphone.
B. Google or Baidu can do the same work as ChatGPT.
C. Students should learn to tell fact from opinion.
D. The purpose of education is to learn knowledge.
29. How does the writer develop this passage?
A. By telling stories. B. By listing numbers.
C. By using expert’s words. D. By doing experiments.
30. Which of the following may be the best title for this passage?
A. The Future of Mobile Phone. B. The Development of AI Technology.
C. The Advantage of Chatbot. D. AI to Influence Future of Education.

【答案】例文
Dear editor,
I was shocked to see some uncivilized behaviors when I took a trip to a village last weekend. Some visitors threw rubbish everywhere and left plastic bags flying around. Some picked flowers without permission to take photos so that they could show off online. And some climbed trees for fun, which might result in serious accidents.
I think it wrong to enjoy oneself at the cost of others. Visitors are supposed to protect the environment, like putting rubbish into proper bins. And they should be careful not to cause trouble to the locals and keep away from danger. In this way, a greener, cleaner and more civilized new village will be there for us all to enjoy.
Yours sincerely
