He is famous for his comedies. 周星驰是一个著名的演员，他因他的喜剧片而出名。 语法梳理 在复合句中,由时间连接词引导的状语从句叫作时间状语从句。时间状语从句通常由when,while,as,after,before,since,until,as soon as等词引导。 1. when,while和as“当……时候” 2.before意为“在……之前”,表示主句动作发生在从句动作之前。 3.after意为“在……之后”,表示主句动作发生在从句动作之后 4.since 自从 5.until 直到......为止（肯定句，主句的谓语动词用延续性动词。） not...until 直到......才开始（否定句，主句的谓语动词用延续或短暂性动词） eg. I did my homework until 11 p.m. yesterday. 昨晚我做作业到11点。 I didn’t my homework until 11 p.m. yesterday. 昨晚我直到11点才开始做作业。 可与when..., not...before..., after进行同义句转换。 闯关练习：1. 我们直到雪停了才离开学校。（完成译句） We ______ leave our school ______ the snow stopped. = We left our school ___________ the snow stopped. 2. Little Jimmy began to do his homework after the cartoon play was over.(改为同义句) Little Jimmy ______ ______ to do his homework ______ the cartoon play was over. 6.as soon as 意为“一……就……”,引导时间状语从句，主从句时态遵循“主将从现，主过从过”原则。 类似用法的还有：when“当……时”，if“如果”。 主将从现：在时间/条件状语从句中，如果主句用将来时，从句用一般现在时表示将来。（注：主句也可以是祈使句或含有情态动词的一般现在时。） eg. When I grow up, I will be a policeman. Don’t laugh at me when I make a mistake. If I doesn’t rain, we may go for a field trip. 主过从过：在时间/条件状语从句中，如果主句用过去时，从句也要用过去的某种时态。 eg. When I arrived home yesterday, my mom was cooking. 检 I. 用until, when, while, as soon as, before, after完成句子，每个词限用一次。 (1) Please tell me __________ you get there.
