Last winter I decided to work as a volunteer. I applied for(申请)jobs at a few shops but 1 of them had any jobs for teenagers. Then, one day my mom told me the zoo 2 for teenagers to work on the weekend. I applied for the job online.

Two weeks ago, an accident happened near our school. 1 man lost control of his car and hurt a 2 girl. The teachers were very worried, so they sent her to the nearest hospital right away.

“It’s a waste of time,” I said when my mom told me to join Madcaps, a charity (慈善) club that helps many children and women. 1 she told me I had to volunteer at a homeless shelter (收容所), I thought that things were bad.

It is common for college students to take part in volunteer activities (志愿者活动) these years. Tian Lipeng 1 Tianjin University is one of them.

As a volunteer teacher, I traveled a long way to a village school in Longzhou, Guangxi. On my way there, I 1 about the school and the children there. “It must be new and big.
