1. 时态变化(Tense Shift)

间接引语(Indirect Speech)

主句动词为某一时态,如过去时(如 said, told, asked),
间接引语的时态需相应后推:
现在时 → 过去时
Direct: "I am busy." → Indirect: He said he was busy.
过去时 → 过去完成时
Direct: "She saw a movie." → Indirect: He said she had seen a movie.
将来时(will)→ 过去将来时(would)
Direct: "I will help you." → Indirect: He said he help me.

例外:若直接引语表达的是普遍真理或事实,间接英语时态不变。
Direct: "The Earth revolves around the Sun."
→ Indirect: He said the Earth revolves around the Sun.
2. 人称代词与物主代词的调整(Pronoun Adjustment)
根据说话者与听话者的关系调整人称:
Direct: " ." → Indirect:
I need your help
She said
she needed my help.
Direct:
"We love our country." → Indirect:
They said they loved their country.
3. 时间与地点状语的转换
(Time & Place Adverbs)
时间状语:
today → that day
yesterday → the day before
tomorrow → the next day
now → then
地点状语:
here → there
Direct:
"I'll call you tomorrow." → Indirect: She said she would call me .
the next day
Direct:
"Stay here!" → Indirect: He told me to stay .

4.祈使句的转换
(Commands & Requests)
使用 tell/ask/order + 宾语 + to do 结构:
Direct: "Close the door." → Indirect: He told me to close the door.
Direct: "Please help me."
→ Indirect:
She asked him to help her.
5.疑问句的转换(Questions)
一般疑问句:用 if/whether 引导,语序改为陈述句。
Direct: "Are you tired?" → Indirect:
特殊疑问句:保留疑问词(what/where/when等),语序改为陈述句。
Direct: "Where did you go?" → Indirect: He asked where I had gone.
