1] These bad habits, if left unchecked, could lead to more serious ones when they become adults.

2] The good news is that we can change, if we understand how habits work.

3] So, when we feel unhappy again (cue), rather than eat snacks, we could listen to some of our favourite music instead (routine), which will make us feel relaxed (reward).
句中when we feel unhappy again (cue), rather than eat snacks为时间状语从句,其中rather than连接两个动词短语feel unhappy again 和eat snacks作平行结构;which will make us feel relaxed (reward)为非限制性定语从句,修饰整个主句的内容。
4] For example, when we come to an escalator (cue), our normal routine is to ride it, but we could change this routine into something more positive by taking the stairs instead.

2] ①There is a famous saying based on the philosophy of Aristotle:“We are what we repeatedly do.”

Could a daily walk be even better for our health than we thought? Several new studies show that walking not only burns fat, but also boosts longevity (长寿) and has a dramatic antiageing effect on the body.
In the latest of these findings, due to be published in the journal Communications Biology in the next few weeks, Thomas Yates, a professor at the University of Leicester, showed that walkers who adopt a quick pace can have a biological age 15 years younger than those who take their time.Yates and his team looked at the length of telomeres (端粒) of chromosomes (染色体)in 405,981 middleaged adults in the UK. As we grow older, our telomeres shorten, which results in accelerated cell ageing.“If we can keep them long for as long as possible, it acts as a buffer against ageing,”says Yates.
Their findings follow a review and analysis of 15 studies on walking involving almost 50,000 people that was published this week.Amanda Paluch at the University of Massachusetts Amhers confirmed that daily walking improves health and longevity, but more daily steps are better only up to a point. For adults under 60, Paluch showed a daily total of 8,000-10,000 steps was best for reducing risk of early death, while 6,000-8,000 steps was enough for the over60s.
Walking has also recently been shown to strengthen the blood flow to the brain. In one of the largest studies, researchers revealed that 20 minutes of quick walking most days from middle age onwards will lower the risk of dementia (痴呆).Professor Edward Zamrini says,“The idea that you can reduce your risk for Alzheimer's disease by simply increasing your activity is very promising.”
Even in people with some existing agerelated memory damage, walking can work wonders, as a yearlong study in the Journal of Alzheimer's Disease showed.“Walking is by far the best medicine we have for a healthy life,”says Yates.

I started the latest round of the NutriFit programme weeks ago.We took about 45 minutes to go through participants' health records, previous diets, expectations, and levels of willingness to change to customize the programme to meet each individual's needs.
I was shocked by one thing. When it comes to weightloss goals, I usually ask“When was the last time you were happy with your body?”The reply usually relates to prewedding, prekids, precollege—the usual suspects. However, this time, almost everyone said,“Of course, I wasn't happy with it then, but I'd be happy with it now!”
It made me stop to think. For most of us, no matter how much we don't really like the body shape, there will likely be a point in the future when we would kill for the body we currently have.I don't mean to upset anyone from improving their health right now.But maybe we need to stop and smell the roses. We should be happy and grateful for our bodies exactly as they are.
That's why NutriFit has changed into something much more holistic(整体的;全面的).Now we have every shape and size taking part, but the goals are so much bigger: disease prevention, more energy and clarity, better immunity, wellbalanced hormones...the list goes on.Yes, we get great body part results, but you are about so much more than what your body looks like.
In my opinion, the key rule of a successful nutrition programme is to be based on real food.If you focus more on balanced diets and less on weight, it becomes a mentally healthier process. If you're going to maintain your new, healthy lifestyle, it needs to be something you actively enjoy—a lifestyle that you want to maintain. If you eat healthily because you want to rather than you have to, life gets 1,000 percent easier.

A.People's discontent with their previous life.
B.People's optimism about their current body.
C.People's satisfaction with their former body.

7.What does NutriFit pay attention to now?
A.People's image.
B.People's health.
C.People's weight.
D.People's appearance.
8.What should a successful nutrition programme focus on in the author's view?
A.A healthy lifestyle.
B.A sound exercise plan.
C.Enough nutritious food.
D.Weight loss.
故选A项。]
