Complete the summary with the suitable words from the passage. 用短文中合适的单词补全概要。
Upcycling, or creative reuse, helps with two of the 3Rs: reduce and reuse. It's a way to make old or unwanted things new and valuable again. It's good for the environment because it cuts down on waste. It can also create unique items!
Daisy Ng, a sixteen-year-old girl, asked her father, who has a bakery, to save eggshells for her. She made colourful candles from them and sold them online. They sold really well. Now, Daisy uses other waste to make decorations and jewellry. What started as a fun hobby turned into a successful business for her.
Designer Kevin Cheung spends 15 hours each day looking for materials and designing upcycled products. Since 2010, he has made over 40 designs using old clothes, furniture and even bicycle wheels. He gets help from local disabled people to make his products. Kevin thinks upcycling not only makes useful things but also helps make the relationships in the community better. Some people don't understand and think his products are cheap for not using new materials, but Kevin doesn't care. For him, it's not about making money. It's about sustaining (维持) the balance between the ecosystem, economy and the society.

Greensburg, Kansas, is a small city that became known for being kind to the Earth after a big tornado hit in 2007. The people there decided to rebuild their town with the idea that using less energy is good for the environment. They made low-energy buildings, used wind and the sun to make power, and encouraged everyone to live in a way that helps the planet.
In 2009, Greensburg was the first city in America to use special streetlights that are good for the environment. These streetlights cost 70 per cent less than the old ones and use 40 per cent less energy. Almost all of these new streetlights can be recycled.
A wind farm is a place with big
windmills, called wind turbines (涡轮机), that
use the wind to make electricity. Kansas is a
great place for a wind farm because the land is
mostly flat, with not many hills or mountains.
There's a lot of wind blowing around, and sometimes it gets so windy that it can
cause tornadoes, like the one that damaged Greensburg. The wind turbines in
Greensburg's wind farm can make enough electricity to power 4,000 homes. This
shows that being“green” can help create energy and save money for the town.
Greensburg has also made eco-homes for tourists who want to see what living in a green way is like. These places are like hotels, but they are built to be eco-friendly, so visitors can enjoy their stay without harming the environment.
