课标解读
本单元主题语境是“人与自我”,涉及的主题语境内容是高中起始阶段的日常学习与生活。Starting out包含一段关于英国高中生日常学习和生活的视频和一份有关高中生活第一天的问卷调查。Understanding ideas是一篇日记,主要讲述了一个叫孟浩的高中生高中第一天的经历及感受。整篇日记语言简洁、生动形象。全文主要应用过去时态,人称上主要是第一人称,充分体现了日记
的文体特征。
教学目标
1.熟记前4页单词和重点词组
2.能够通过阅读文章,快速获取细节信息,整合文本并对文章主旨
大意进行概括。
3.能够梳理细节信息,归纳情节发展的时间顺序、作者的经历以
及情感的变化。
4.通过阅读,学生能理解“良好的开端是成功的一半”的意义,
树立对高中学习和生活的自信。
5.能够通过了解高中学习生活,激发英语学习的兴趣,对高中生活
形成正确的认识,树立正确的学习态度。
教学重难点
1. 引导学生通过视频材料,获取关于英国学校King Alfred’s School的主要信息,总结并表达该学校与自己学校的不同之处;
2. 引导学生通过自主阅读和小组合作完成对孟浩的经历和情感的信息获取和整合,并通过思维导图复述孟浩的经历和感受。而且基
于文本理解“良好的开端是成功的一半”的意义。
