【拓展】形容词比较级的变化规律:
(1)规则变化:
①一般在形容词词尾加-er:
e.g. small – smaller, tall - taller
②以e结尾的形容词在词尾直接加-r:
e.g. nice - nicer,fine - finer

③重读闭音节的形容词,末尾只有一个辅音字母,双写最后的这个辅音字母再加er:
e.g. big – bigger, thin - thinner。
④以辅音字母加y结尾的形容词,变y为i,再加-er:
happy – happier, funny-funnier
⑤多音节的形容词在前面加 more:
e.g. interesting -more interesting
(2)不规则变化:good –better, bad - worse

【拓展】名词所有格的构成及用法:
名词所有格主要表示有生命的事物或自然界独一无二的;某些空间和时间名词的所有格,如 the world's,the sun's,the earth's,today's,yesterday's 等。
(1)单数名词词尾加“s”,复数名词词尾没有 s,也要加“s” e.g. the boy’s bag men’s room

(2)若名词以s结尾,或是复数名词词尾是 s 时,只加“’ ”
e.g. the workers’ struggle
(3)在表示店铺的名字或某人的家时,名词所有格的后面常常不出现它所修饰的名词。

(4)如果两个名词并列,并且分别有“’s”,则表示“分别有”;只有一个“’s”,则表示“共有”。
