If I ever get trapped outside my house again, my local telephone box will, sadly no longer be able to connect me with my keys. But it can certainly keep me entertained while I wait for my wife to rescue me.(用斜线划出意群)
答案:If I ever get trapped/outside my house/again, /my local telephone box/will, sadly no longer be able to connect me/with my keys./But it can certainly keep me entertained/while I wait for my wife to rescue me.
James Barry (C.1789 1865) was born Margaret Bulkley in Ireland but, dressed as a man, she was accepted by Edinburgh University to study medicine. She qualified as a surgeon in 1813, then joined the British Army, serving overseas. Barry retired in 1859, having practiced her entire medical profession living and working as a man.(标出文中专有名词)
答案:James Barry; Margaret Bulkley; Ireland; Edinburgh University; British Army。

34.What does the author suggest readers do?
A.Absorb new information readily.
B.Be selective information consumers.
C.Use diverse information sources.
