◇教学过程◇
Step 1 Leading in
1.Greet students and have a short free talk about the things around them.
2.Show some pictures or objects and ask students to describe them using English sentences with “a” or “an”.
Step 2 Work on A
1.Ask students to read the text and pay attention to the use of “a” “an” and “the”.
2.Explain that when we mention a person or thing for the first time,we usually use “a” or “an”,and that when we mention it again,we use “the”.Also,explain the difference in pronunciation between “a” and “an”.
3.Work on A1
(1)Ask students to read the text about Beijing National Stadium.Then ask them to fill in the blanks with “a” “an” “the” or “/”.
(2)Check the answers and ask students to read out the completed text.
4.Work on A2
(1)Share some pictures and facts of the Water Cube.Let students talk about them with partners.
(2)Each pair should write down their conversation and then share it with another pair.
Step 3 Work on B
1.Share some pictures of Beihai Park and let students talk about them.
2.Let students read its description and pay attention to the use of prepositions of place.
3.Talk in groups and summarise the use of prepositions of place.
4.Work on B1
(1)Let students read the sentences below about a siheyuan and complete the description with the correct prepositions of place.
(2)Check and explain the language points.
5.Work on B2
(1)Let students talk about a picture of a place in their hometown and write a short text about it.
(2)Invite some students to share and give the feedback.
◇教学反思◇
通过本节课的教学,学生对冠词和方位介词的用法有了一定的理解,但在实际运用中仍存在一些错误。在后续教学中,可增加更多的语境练习,让学生在具体情境中感受它们的用法。
