Step 2 Pre⁃reading 1.Ask students to look at the title and pictures of the vlog script and guess what the text might be about. 2.Before reading,ask students to think about the two questions:“What traditional things can you see in Beijing?” “How can you find out more about places of interest in Beijing?” 3.Teach the new words and phrases in the box before reading. Step 3 While⁃reading 1.Ask students to read the vlog script carefully and silently for the first time and answer the two questions in the pre⁃reading part.Encourage them to underline the words or sentences they don’t understand. 2.Share the answers and give the feedback. 3.Work on A (1)Ask students to read the vlog script again and complete the chart. (2)Check and correct the answers. 4.Work on B (1)Ask students to read the vlog script again and circle the correct words according to the text. (2)Ask students to explain the reasons for their choices. Step 4 Post⁃reading 1.Divide the students into groups of four and ask them to discuss the questions: “Which place in Beijing do you want to visit most?
