Step 2 Pre⁃reading 1.Before reading,ask students to think about the two questions. (1)What is your home like? (2)What do you like to do at home? 2.Invite some students to share their answers. 3.Ask students to read the blog posts quickly and match the general idea of each one. Step 3 While⁃reading 1.Ask students to read the blog posts carefully and silently for the first time and think about the following questions.Encourage them to underline the words or sentences they don’t understand. (1)What is Li Mengtian’s home like? (2)What’s Neil’s favourite place? (3)Where does Femi live? 2.Check the answers together. 3.Work on A (1)Let students complete the chart in A with the information in the blog posts. (2)Check and correct the answers. 4.Work on B (1)Ask students to read the blog posts again and write a T if a sentence is true or an F if it is false. (2)Ask students to correct the false ones.Explain the reasons for the answers.
