◇教学过程◇
Step 1 Leading in
1.Greet the class.
2.Share a personal anecdote about an interesting entertainment experience to further arouse students’ interest and lead to the topic of the lesson.
Step 2 Work on Activity 1
1.Display the pictures of ancient entertainment activities one by one and ask students to name the activities in English and briefly describe how they were done.
2.Divide students into pairs to discuss which ancient activity they find the most interesting and why.Each pair then shares their discussion with the class.
Step 3 Work on Activity 2
1.Present the survey results about popular activities in Poland in 2022 and ask students to read the data carefully.
2.Pose questions like “What are the most popular activities?”“What are the least popular ones?”“Why do you think there is such a difference?” to guide students to analyse the data.
3.Ask students to share their own favourite activities from the list and explain their reasons.
Step 4 Share and talk
1.Let the students talk about the advantages of fun activities with their partners.
2.Invite some students to share their partners’ opinions.
◇教学反思◇
本节课是本单元的第一课,旨在引导学生关注日常娱乐活动。学生在识别古代娱乐活动和描述个人喜好方面表现积极,但在对比分析不同时代娱乐活动特点和深入挖掘调查数据背后原因时,部分学生表达不够准确和深入。在后续的教学中要加强学生的口语表达,并给予他们及时反馈。
