◇教学过程◇
Step 1 Leading in
Greet the class and review the key knowledge.Display some excellent food fact sheets or posters to inspire students to think about their favourite food.
Step 2 Brainstorming
1.Divide students into groups and ask them to discuss the details they want to include in their fact sheets about their favourite food.Encourage them to explore different aspects such as the food’s origin,traditional cooking methods,cultural significance in different regions,and any interesting stories related to it.
2.Each group makes a list of ideas and shares them with the class.Then,have a class discussion to expand and refine the ideas.
Step 3 Fact sheet making
1.Guide students to organise their ideas with the help of the outline,determining the layout of the fact sheet,including the placement of the title,text boxes,pictures,and captions.
2.During the process,walk around the classroom to offer help and advice on content organization,language usage,and design elements.Encourage students to use their imagination and creativity to make their fact sheets stand out.
Step 4 Share and present
1.Invite each group to send a representative to present their fact sheets to the class.The representative should introduce the food clearly,following the structure of the fact sheet and highlighting the key information.They should also be prepared to answer any questions from the audience.
2.After the presentation,ask other students to give comments and suggestions based on the content,design,and presentation skills.Then,conduct a vote to select the best three fact sheets and the best three presentations,and give awards and recognition to encourage students.
Step 5 Reflection
1.Ask students to think about what they have learnt in this unit.
2.Have students discuss in pairs or small groups about the problems and difficulties they encountered during the learning process.
3.Based on the students’ reflections,the teacher summarises the common problems and achievements of the class.Provide specific guidance and suggestions for improvement.
◇教学反思◇
在制作信息表和展示环节,学生展现出了较高的热情和创造力,大部分学生能够制作出内容翔实、设计美观的信息表,并进行较为流畅的展示。然而,仍有部分学生在表达时存在紧张情绪,语言不够简洁明了,对一些专业知识或文化背景的介绍不够深入。在反思过程中,学生能够认识到自己的一些问题,但对于如何有效改进还需要更多的指导。
