Step 2 Work on 3a 1.Let students read the sentences and circle all the nouns for food and drink.Then ask students to determine whether they are countable or uncountable in the context. 2.Check the answers and explain the reasons for each classification. Step 3 Work on 3b 1.Ask students to complete the jokes with the correct forms of the nouns in brackets.Explain the humour in the jokes based on the noun usage. 2.Check the answers and let students read the jokes aloud to enhance their understanding. Step 4 Work on 3c 1.Ask students to complete the passage with the correct forms of the nouns in brackets.Pay attention to the context and the countable or uncountable nature of the nouns. 2.Ask students to read the passage after completion and check for any errors.
