We are supposed to review what have learned frequently and keep practicing. Then, we can have many hobbies such as drawing, dancing and singing to make our life more meaningful and colorful. Last but not least, we should be healthy. We are expected to do some exercises, including running, swimming and jumping. To be healthy, we should do exercise more and eat more vegetables. All in all, We will be happy to have such a more colorful and meaningful life. So we should try my best to make it possible to have a better life!

When he learned to paint as a teenager, Xiao, a farmer in Henan, could never have imagined it would help him make a lot of money.
In the past, villagers in Xiao’s village Wanggongzhuang drew and sold new year paintings, a kind of business that goes back to the early 20th century when a man brought the skill to the village.
In the 1980s, Xiao practiced in his free time after farm work and traveled to cities to sell his pieces. They sold so cheaply that he could hardly make any money.

So he began to travel, not to sell paintings, but to zoos in northeastern China to watch tigers and paint them.
It was a great success. In 1999, he was the first in the village to buy a color TV, and a year later a computer.
Using the Internet, Xiao tried to sell his paintings abroad, first to Singapore, then to Japan, European countries and the United States.
Xiao’s success prompted (激励) more villagers. The tiger painting is now a trademark(商标) of Wanggongzhuang. The village sells thousands of tiger paintings every year, with 40 percent going overseas.

In a village near a desert lived a young and successful businessman named James. But he often felt unhappy because of the endless challenges he faced.
One day, a wise old man came to the village with 100 camels. James went to see him and said, “I always have business worries, family troubles and health problems. Please tell me how to make them disappear.” The old man smiled and said, “I’ll give you an answer tomorrow morning. But first, can you do a small thing for me?” James agreed. The old man asked him to take care of the 100 camels for the night, making sure that they all sat down and rested before he could go to sleep.
The next morning, the old man asked James how his night went. James said sadly, “I didn’t sleep at all. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t get all the camels to sit together. Even if I managed to get some camels to sit on one side, a few others would stand on the other side.”
“That’s true. As noticed last night, some camels sat down on their own, while others required some effort, and yet many camels did not sit even after lots of effort. If you had come back later, you would have seen that some of the camels, even though they didn’t sit at first, finally sat down on their own,” the old man said.
James nodded. The old man continued, “Problems are just like camels—some problems get solved by themselves, some get solved when you put in some effort, and some do not get solved even after you have tried your best. Leave such problems to time. At the right time, these problems themselves will come to an end. ”
James felt a sense of understanding. It completely changed the way he saw life’s challenges.

It is often said, "You can't live only on air." But now the Chinese scientists can tell you: Maybe you can.
Recently, some Chinese scientists have made a big breakthrough(突破). They turned CO2, one of the main greenhouse gases, into starch(淀粉).
Starch is the main part of flour(面粉), rice and corn that we eat every day. Usually, it's created by plants with CO2, water and sunlight. According to the team's director Ma Yanhe, it takes the plants nearly 60 steps to produce starch. But now, the team, after six years of hard work, has found a simpler way to do this, with only 11 steps.
"Our study shows that creating something like starch is possible in a lab, and this technology may be helpful in many areas," said Ma.
The scientists first turned CO2 and hydrogen(氢气) into methanol(甲醇). Then they pieced these methanol molecules(分子) into bigger and more complex molecules. Finally the starch came out.
This method makes it possible to produce food in factories, replacing traditional farming. This will not only help make plenty of food, but also save water and land. It may also help recycle CO2 to deal with climate(气候) change, according to China Daily.
The study can be helpful in space, too. Astronauts may no longer need to worry about their food as they travel in space. They may simply turn the CO2 they breathe out into the food they eat!

根据第四段中“Then in 1998, the Year of the Tiger, a client ordered a tiger painting.”以及以及第六段中“So he began to travel, not to sell paintings, but to zoos in northeastern China to watch tigers and paint them.”第七段中“It was a great success.”
根据第五段中“His painting sold at a good price, and he realized he was onto something that could benefit the whole village.”
根据最后一段中“The village sells thousands of tiger paintings every year, with 40 percent going overseas.”

49. They turned CO2 into starch.
50.Creating something like starch in a lab.
52.52.1) live 2) turning 3) plants 4) helpful
文章明确提到“some Chinese scientists have made a big breakthrough(突破). They turned CO2, one of the main greenhouse gases, into starch(淀粉).”,直接提取关键信息即可。
50.根据前文“Our study shows that creating something like starch is possible in a lab”可知,这里的“It”指代的是在实验室中创造类似淀粉的东西这件事。
52. 1)根据原文“It is often said, "You can't live only on air."”
2) 从“They turned CO2, one of the main greenhouse gases, into starch(淀粉).”
3)由“it takes the plants nearly 60 steps to produce starch”可知第三空填“plants”,指植物需要近60步来生产淀粉。
4) 从“The study can be helpful in space, too.”
