Flora liked nothing better than to spend time with her grandfather. You see, he was always making something and she enjoyed watching, learning, and sometimes even helping him finish whatever he was doing. Now, the two decided to go on a hike in the woods tomorrow.
The next morning, Flora did not need an alarm to wake her. She was up, dressed, and ready to go as the sun rose and the day began. After a great breakfast and a long drive, Flora and her grandfather arrived at the base of a mountain and the beginning of the trail. “This is beautiful, ” Flora said. “Just where are we hiking? ” “To the very top of the mountain where we will have lunch, rest, maybe take a swim, and then hike back down, ” he replied. “Swim! ” Flora said excitedly. “Is there a lake on the top of the mountain? ” “Yes, ” her grandfather replied. “There is a lake surrounded by big flat rocks and it is filled with clear, cold water. ” “Wow! ” was all Flora could say.
As they hiked up the mountain, Flora asked many, many questions. “What kind of tree is that? ” “How high are we? ” “Are there bears around here? ” “Are there any other people up here? ” “What do we do if we get lost? ” And of course: “Are we there yet? ” Her grandfather answered all her questions the best he could and explained that they were in a very natural area. Not many people, all sorts of wildlife, even bears. He helped her understand and respect the natural beauty around them, particularly the animals. He taught her how to use a compass, and things to help them be safer while they hiked. Like whistle a song or make some noise to let the bigger animals know you are in their area. In a soft voice, her grandfather said, “The Earth is our mother. All life is sacred; treat all life with respect. Take from the Earth what is needed and nothing more. Enjoy your journey but leave no tracks.

Paragraph 1:
As they hiked a little farther, Flora saw the lake surrounded by rocks. Her eyes widened in amazement, and she let out a gasp of wonder. "Grandpa, it's like a hidden gem!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with awe. Without hesitation, she sprinted towards the lake, her feet crunching on the gravel path. Reaching the shore, she quickly shed her backpack and shoes, plunging her toes into the icy water. A shiver ran through her body, but the thrill of the coolness was too tempting to resist. Her grandfather followed leisurely, a warm smile on his face. They sat on the rocks, their legs dangling in the water, and Flora chattered non - stop about the fish she spotted darting beneath the surface. After a while, they spread out the picnic blanket and feasted on sandwiches, sharing stories and laughter. Then, Flora dived into the lake, her laughter echoing across the water as she splashed and swam, feeling completely free.
Paragraph 2:
Flora was sad when she heard her grandfather say, “It’s time to leave.” Her shoulders slumped, and she looked around longingly, her eyes lingering on the lake and the surrounding mountains. "Do we really have to go?" she asked, her voice tinged with disappointment. But she knew there was no choice. On the way down, she was lost in thought, replaying every moment of the adventure in her mind. She remembered the way the sunlight filtered through the trees, the songs of the birds, and her grandfather's wise words. As they reached the base of the mountain, she turned to her grandfather, her eyes shining with gratitude. "Grandpa, this was the best day ever. I'll always remember it, and I'll do my best to protect nature," she said earnestly. Her grandfather patted her head affectionately. "I'm proud of you, dear. Nature will always be here for you to explore, as long as we take care of it."
写作示范二
Paragraph 1:
As they hiked a little farther, Flora saw the lake surrounded by rocks. A huge smile spread across her face, and she jumped up and down in excitement. "Finally! We made it!" she shouted, her hands clenched in fists of joy. She ran towards the lake, her ponytail bouncing behind her. Once at the edge, she crouched down and gently touched the water, watching the ripples spread out. Her grandfather joined her, and they sat on a flat rock, taking in the peaceful scenery. Flora pointed to a family of ducks swimming gracefully on the lake and exclaimed, "Look, Grandpa! Aren't they cute?" They had their lunch, savoring the sandwiches while listening to the soft rustling of the leaves in the wind. After lunch, Flora changed into her swimsuit and dived into the lake, feeling the cold water envelop her body. She swam around, exploring every corner of the small lake, feeling like a mermaid in her own little world.
Paragraph 2:
Flora was sad when she heard her grandfather say, “It’s time to leave.” She bit her lip, trying to hold back the tears. "Can't we stay just a little longer?" she pleaded. But she knew it was getting late. On the way down, she walked slowly, looking at the plants and trees, as if trying to memorize every detail. She thought about how much she had learned about nature today. When they reached the bottom, she hugged her grandfather tightly. "Thank you, Grandpa. This hike has made me realize how important nature is. I'll never take it for granted," she said. Her grandfather smiled warmly. "That's what I hoped you'd learn, dear. Nature is our greatest treasure."
【答案】As they hiked a little farther, Flora saw the lake surrounded by rocks. Marveling at the surroundings, she sped to the lakeside, where her grandfather and she enjoyed their sandwiches. The sunshine, filtering through the branches, danced on the water and warmed Flora’s heart. This natural leisure doubled her childlike delight. “I must be dreaming! ” Flora exclaimed. The brisk breeze patted their cheeks and immersed them in the sounds of nature. Flora was so enchanted that she forgot the time.
Flora was sad when she heard her grandfather say, “It’s time to leave. ” A wave of loss swept over Flora. She walked slowly, with her lip dropping. Her grandfather tenderly stroked her hair, “Dear, we can visit this beautiful place next time! ” A question suddenly emerged in Flora’s mind. “Why is the most beautiful scenery always so far away? ” Grandfather’s response resonated with Flora, “in remote areas, beauty often appears more enchanting; because it’s untouched by human presence. That’s why we ought to live in harmony with nature. ” As the twilight approached, they descended the hill with joyful strides, carrying a bag of rubbish to keep the mountain clean.
