1 Read the news and talk about its main idea.
In the national park of the Qilian Mountains in China, people discovered over 70 kinds of wildlife. The park is on the list of the country’s key protection projects.
The Qilian Mountain National Park is in Gansu Province in northwest China. The local government began setting up the park to protect wildlife in 2017. But the protection of the wildlife and food chain started in early 2011.
“ The food chain for wild animals here is becoming complete,” says Ma Duifang. Ma is head of the Animal Management Division at the national park. He believes that protecting the food chain is important! It can increase the number of wild animals.
