Say the school rules. Step 2 Pre-listening Let Ss look at the picture in 2a and answer the questions(predict the passage): a.Where are they? b.What are they doing? c.What does the boy bring to class? Can we bring it to class? Look at the picture and answer the questions. Step 3 While-listening 1.Play the tape. Have students listen to the conversation and circle the colored words they hear. 2.Listen to the conversation and focus on the stressed words. Listen to the tape and circle the words. Step 4 Post-listening 1.Have students read the conversation and complete the school rules in 2b. 2.Guide students to read the conversation again and answer the questions in 2c. 3.Instruct students to complete the conversation summary in 2d. 4.Ask students to try to retell the conversation using some key words. 5.Let students work in groups to discuss the rules of our school. 6.Present a video about the differences in school rules between the UK and China. 1.
