1. Analysis of Teaching Material
This class is from unit 3 lesson 3, which is a reading lesson with a story about Christmas. The main content is to tell the author why she loves Christmas, remember Granny and Granny spent Christmas together, and express how much she misses Granny.The article has two main lines, both in chronological order. The bright line describes some unforgettable things after Grandma moved here, and the dark line describes the holiday customs of Christmas. These two main lines interweave with each other, organically integrating the textual factual information, language expression, Christmas customs and memories of grandma, so that readers can have a comprehensive and profound understanding and experience of Christmas and Western family love, and sort out the information structure chart and structured knowledge chart of this paper. 2. Analysis of Learners
Most of the senior high school students have weak foundation, low vocabulary, not fully mastered vocabulary in senior high school entrance examination, inaccurate oral pronunciation, and serious lack of expression ability. Many students do not have clear learning objectives and lack confidence and interest in English learning. Some students have a good foundation and can express their ideas in English, but they still need to improve their pronunciation and sentence structure. According to the specific situation of students, we need to implement the foundation and take measures to implement listening, vocabulary, reading, etc. The task will be detailed, the students who have a good foundation should also put forward higher requirements, so that students can improve step by step on the original level.
