预习指导
一、方法指导
1.自主预习教材Page 3~4的新单词和短语,掌握词形及汉语意思。做到重点词汇能正确发音,明确其用法,着重记忆。
2.预读3a的短文,了解文章主题,搜集相关资料。
二、预习检测
根据句意及汉语提示完成单词
1.I’m sorry to get you into so much trouble (麻烦).
2.They tried their best to save (挽救) the boy.
3.Her present gave me a great surprise (惊喜).
4.The policeman didn’t think about himself (他自己) in the accident.
课堂教学
Step 1 Leading in
Teacher:Everybody may fall ill.If we see a sick person on our way to school or work,we should try our best to help them.Let’s learn how to help others.Look at the picture in 3a,and discuss what happened and what we should do.Did the bus driver help them?Let’s read the passage to find the answer.
Step 2 Work on 3a-3b
1.Get the students to read the article quickly and discuss the questions in 3a with a partner:Do you think it comes from a newspaper or a book?How do you know?
2.Choose a student to give his or her answers.
3.Ask the students to read the article carefully,finish the practice in 3b and check the answers.
4.Lead the students to read the article.
5.Have the students work in groups to read the article.As they read,move around the classroom to offer language or pronunciation support as needed.
Step 3 Work on 3c
1.Lead the students to read the article in 3a again,and help the students understand the author’s writing intentions.
2.Have the students discuss the questions in 3c with their partners,and invite some students to give their answers.Then give a brief comment.
Step 4 Work on Grammar Focus
1.Review the grammar box.
2.Make the students practice reading the sentences in the chart by themselves and then lead the students to read.
3.Explain the grammars in Grammar Focus.
Step 5 Work on 4a-4b
1.Ask the students to read the sentences carefully in 4a to understand their meanings and fill in the blanks.
2.Check the answers.
3.Have the students recite the sentences and check with partners.
4.Get the students to read the sentences in the left in 4b and circle the best advice for these health problems.Then add their own advice.
5.Invite some students to share their answers and explain the reasons.
6.The teacher gives further explanation.
Step 6 Work on 4c
1.Ask the students to read the dialog in 4c.
2.Divide the class into four groups.One student mimes a problem and the other students in his/her group guess the problem and give advice.Let each group act out the conversations in turn.
3.The teacher gives relevant guidance.
◇教学反思◇
为了避免语法学习的枯燥,本课时设计了几个小组活动和游戏,让学生在不知不觉中掌握了知识,学习效果较好。此外,老师通过本课时的教学,弘扬了助人为乐的精神,增强了学生们的社会公德意识。
