3.Play the recording for the students to listen and number the names in the picture in 1b.
4.Play the recording again for the students to check the answers and read aloud.

1.Have the students focus on the conversation in the box.
2.Make the students work in pairs to practice reading the conversation.
3.Divide the class into groups of four or five.Ask them to make conversations based on the information in 1a.
4.Invite some groups to act out their conversations.
Step 4 Work on 2a-2b
1.Play the recording for the first time.Ask the students to listen and number the pictures in the order they hear in 2a.
2.Check the answers.(Choose one student who raises his or her hand.)
3.Play the recording for a second time.Let the students match the problems with the advice in 2b.

Step 5 Work on 2c
1.Get the students to focus on the conversation in 2c.
2.Ask the students to make conversations using the information in 2a and 2b.
3.Have several groups of students present their conversations to the class.
Step 6 Work on 2d
1.Ask the students to read aloud the conversation in 2d.Teach the new words and phrases.

3.Check the answers with individual students to see how well they understand.
