Though the problem of taking selfies has been known for a while, it became worse and had to be dealt with on September 21st, following the death of Frank, who was trying to take a selfie with his friend when they fell off some stairs. His friend only broke his leg while Frank died from the accident. It was reported that three Indian students were run over(碾压) by a passing train while they were taking a selfie on the railway tracks.
More and more selfie-connected accidents are forcing(迫使) some governments to deal with the problem. In July, the Russian Interior Ministry began a program which didn’t allow the selfie stick(自拍杆). Many museums and the theme parks haven’t allowed visitors to use the selfie stick, either.

First, forests are very important for humans. Forests take in carbon dioxide from the air and make oxygen. Many animals live in the forest, they get food from the forest. Forests can keep water cleaner and make the mountains greener.
Second, forest fire caused a lot of problems. Fire could kill people and animals. It destroyed the natural environment badly.
Third, in order to avoid fire accidents. The government spent some money building forest isolation belts. At the same time, the government made some rules, don’t smoke in the forest. People aren’t allowed to make a fire or play with the fire in the forest. A number of firemen and workers guard the forests in the mountains every day. We have to tell my family and friends to take an active part in protecting the forests. If you find a forest fire, please call 12119, but the old and the children mustn’t take part in putting out a fire.
In a word, forests are humans’ and animals’ homes, we should plant more trees and take good care of our forests. As we can say, clean water and green mountains are our treasures.
