The original (起初的) rules did not include what is known today as the dribble (带球), and only allowed the ball to be moved up or down the court (场地) by way of passes between players. On January 15th, 1892, the rules of the game were published in the newspaper.

The charity raises money and finds the right medical volunteers to perform the operations.
A Smile Train doctor from the UK said, “Each child who has the operation is given a second chance at life. After years of staying at home, the children can finally go to school and be happy. Every year I perform hundreds of operations free of cost through Smile Train. Some of the stories I have heard are quite surprising.
One newborn baby girl was found abandoned on a train. Luckily for her, she was found and adopted (收养) by a passenger. This lady then heard about Smile Train and brought the baby to our hospital. A few close friends walking through the city streets has become popular among young people in China. It is called Citywalk. People would like to have a journey to walk around the city and explore (探索) its beauty.
Citywalk first appeared in London, England to make tourists travel like locals. A group of people followed a guide, enjoyed the city’s streets, saw buildings up close, and got a deep understanding of the history and culture. At that time, Citywalk emphasized (强调) the importance of heartfelt feeling and a new understanding.
But in China, Citywalk emphasizes following the heart and moving at a slower speed. People do not need to have a good plan before they start walking. Unlike walking in the park or in their neighborhood, Citywalk includes discovering old buildings, exploring special shops, having a cup of coffee, trying local food and so on. People take photos, make videos and share their stories online. They tell others where they go and what they find.
In this fast-paced world, young people are always working hard and they have little time for local exploration. Citywalk helps them have a warmer, more relaxing and slower-paced lifestyle. Whether it’s a busy market, a small shop in a small neighborhood, or a modern city street, they can all make them feel comfortable.
Let’s take a walk together and explore the beauty of daily life!

There is no other better place in the world than our homes. Home is where we learn the first lesson in life.
My home is in Cochin, a city in Kerala. It is a very fast moving place, but I love the place. I live in a not very large apartment. We live on the second floor. My father works as a banker and my mother writes stories. We just have two bedrooms, one for my parents and the other for my sister and me.
My mom always cooks delicious food. The dining room is next to the living room. The balconies(阳台) are not very large, but I like them best because I can enjoy beautiful nature sights there. We park our car outside the house and there is a small park in the yard where we could play games in the evening.
There is so much fun at my home. Though we fight for small things, my parents make us realize all the good things in life and we try understanding them.
As the saying goes, “A house is built by hands. but a home is built by hearts.” Our home is also built by hearts. My home is a warm, welcoming and loving place.

This term we have some fun activities during the 30-minute break in our school. There are many kinds of activities for us, such as running, practicing rope skipping, playing volleyball and so on. Different people have different ideas about it.
Teachers think these activities can help students to create an interest in sports. Students think these activities can help to relax and reduce stress. In my opinion I think they are good for us and can help us have a break during our intense study. These activities can also help us cooperate and communicate with others.
I hope there are more and more activities for us to choose because different students have different hobbies and more activities may give us chances to develop new hobbies.
