Unit 1How can I get there? The Third Period B.Let＇s talk&Let＇s talk 教学目标 1．能够理解并会朗读“Let＇s talk”部分的对话。 2．能在实际情景中灵活运用所学句型，力求做到发音准确，语调自然。 重点难点 重点 1．掌握本节课的重点单词：interesting，Italian，restaurant，pizza，street，get。 2．能够听、说、认读“Let＇s talk”部分的对话。 3．能够灵活运用新句型“I like．．． Howv can I get to the．．．？ Turn left／right at...”谈论自己想要去的地方和到达那里的方式。 4．提高听力和口语交际能力。 难点 能够灵活运用新句型＂I like... How can I get to the...？ Turn left／right at...”谈论自己想要去的地方和到达那里的方式。 教学准备 1．教师准备本课时的教学课件。 2．教师准备建筑物的图片。 3．教师准备录音机和本单元的教学录音带。 4．教师准备作为奖励的小物品。 教学过程 一、课前热身（Warm-up） 1.Greetings T:Good morning,class. 14 Ss: Good morning,teacher. T:How are you? Ss: I'm fine, thanks. And you? T:I'm OK. 2．教师播放本单元的英语歌曲“Where is the hospital？”的录音，学生跟着齐唱两遍，活跃课堂气氛。 教师将学生分成两组，进行比赛，一组唱问题部分，另一组唱答句部分，双方可互换角色进行对唱。选出唱得较好的一组予以奖励。 二、课前预习（Preview） Free talk 教师拿出上个课时的教学挂图，跟学生做简单的free talk。 教师把学生当作建筑物。将单词卡片 cinema、hospital、post office、book-store、library、school等随意发给几名学生，并说明学生的座位就是建筑物的位置。 T:The cinema is here. The hospital is next to the cinema. 手势加语言重复多遍，引导学生说出后面的内容：The post office is next to the hospital。 教师走到一名学生旁边问“Is there a cinema near here？”。如学生回答“No，there isn＇t.”，教师就走到另一名学生旁边接着问“Is there a cinema near here？”。如学生回答“Yes，there is.”，教师马上问“Where is the cinema，please？”，引导学生回答“It＇s next to the hospital.”。 教师板书“Where is the cinema， please？ It＇s next to the hospital.”。 教师示范后请全班学生仿照该句型来进行问答。 三、新课呈现（Presentation） 1.Let's try 教师播放录音，学生听录音，判断句子对错。 然后再次播放录音，学生跟读两遍。教师强调重点句型。 2.Let's talk 让学生打开课本，快速浏览一遍“Let＇s talk”部分的对话。 教师播放“Let＇s talk”部分对话的录音，让学生带着下列问题仔细听，听完后回答问题： What is Wu Yifan going to do? Where is he going? Where is the restaurant? How can they get there? 教师再次播放录音，让学生跟读，之后和学生一起找出以上问题的答案。 Wu Yifan is going to eat something. He is going to the Italian restaurant. The restaurant is next to the park on Dongfang Street. He must turn left at the bookstore, and then turn right at the hospital. 教师带领学生逐句朗读对话，纠正学生的错误发音和语调，同时讲解惯用法：turn left／right at。 turn left 向左转 turn right 向右转 turn left／right at...在······处向左／右转 如： Please turn left at the next traffic light. 请在下一个红绿灯处左转。 然后学生两人一组分角色练习朗读对话，教师巡视指导。 四、巩固延伸（Consolidation ＆ Extention） 教师请学生两两分组谈论自己喜欢的电影院或饭店，仿照“部分的示例进行对话。如： S1:Which cinema do you like in your city/town? S2:I like... S1:How can I get to the...? S2: You can turn left/right at... S1:Well, which restaurant do you like best in your city/town? S2:I like... S1:How can I get to the...? S2: You can turn left/right at... 给学生足够的时间练习对话，教师巡视指导。 之后，请几组同学表演对话。给予学生适当的表扬和鼓励。 五、课堂小结（Summary） 师生一起总结本课时所学的重点知识。 六、布置作业（Homework） 学生听课本上的对话录音，并跟读，然后读给家长听。 板书设计 Unit 1 How can I get there?
