The guideline calls for students to respect work Students should learn basic life skills and form good working habits through such education. The government has been trying to stress the importance of hardworking spirit education. But this has been overlooked in recent years. Many teens do not value the importance of working hard and are uninterested in doing so. According to a study of nearly 3,000 students that was done by Ningbo Evening News in March, only 22 percent of primary and middle school students help with everyday chores around the house.
Schools and families play an important role in teaching students about the value of working hard, the guideline says: Primary and middle schools should provide students with hardworking spirit classes every week, according to the guideline. Schools can also hold activities to give students real-world work experience. For example, schools can teach children how to plant trees on Tree-Planting Day. As children’s first teachers, parents should also encourage children to learn how to do chores at home. Students should master one or two life skills every year. These skills can include cooking, washing their own clothes and tidying their rooms.

Pack a plastic-free (无塑料) picnic
If you’re looking for something fun to do, pack a picnic dinner and take your family or friends to a beautiful place to eat. There’s something about sharing food outdoors in the cool autumn. 32
◆Use food containers(容器) smartly
Using reusable (可重复利用的) containers is the easiest way to cut down waste. 33 For example, you can take along things like a whole watermelon, whole vegetables, a knife and a board to cut your food when you’re ready to eat. It doesn’t need to be done and sealed (密封) before leaving the house.
◆Choose real dishes
34 You’d have to carry the waste out anyway in a trash bag, so why not put your dirty plates into a bag and put them in the dishwasher at home? If you’re worried about dishes breaking, take some light camping plates.
◆Think about the drinks
Fill a large personal bottle with water, juice or lemonade at home. Compared with a single-use plastic cup, they can keep your drinks colder for longer.
◆Put cloth bags to good use
Cloth bags are amazing. They’re perfect for packing sandwiches, dried or whole fruit, and other snack foods. 35 They can also work as a trash bag if needed. Be sure to add a few to your picnic basket.
A. Using washable dishes for a picnic does not require much more work.
B.Have a plastic-free picnic
C.Here is advice on how to pack such a picnic.

Important life skills for teens
Though scoring good grades is important, teens should also develop other necessary life skills. What kind of life skills should teens learn? Here are my ideas.
First, teens should learn to manage time properly. It allows them to better handle their assignments and find time to relax. Second, they should learn how to cook. Cooking can not only help them look after themselves better, but also let them share the housework with their parents.
As for me, I need to learn to solve problems in different ways. I will find out the problem, and try to come up with some solutions alone to solve it. Sometimes, I will turn to my parents, teachers and friends if I can’t solve the problem by myself, and then learn how to deal with it from them.
All in all, if we improve these life skills, we will have a happier and healthier life.
