【注意】
1.turn on/ turn off/ turn up/ turn down由“动词+副词”构成的短语,当由代词作宾语时,需把代词放在动词和副词之间。
2.open表示“打开(窗户、门、书本等)”,而turn on表示“打开(电器、煤气、自来水)”。
例:It’s too hot. Please open the window. 太热了。请打开窗户。

It is/was time to do sth.与 It is/was time for sth.可以互换。如:

一般疑问句:Will+主语+动词原形+其他?
肯定回答:“Yes,主语+will.”;/否定回答:“No,主语+will+not.”

No型
“No+名词 / V-ing形式”结构
在公共场合的提示语中,否定祈使句常用表示“禁止做某事”。
如:NO PHOTOS! 禁止拍照! No parking! 禁止停车!
Do型
否定句:Don't + 动词原形。Don’t swim in the river.
Don’t play with fire. It’s dangerous.
肯定句:以实义动词开头的祈使句。常用结构为:行为动词原形+其它成分。
Come in, please!请进! Stand up, please. = Please stand up. 请起立。

And if it is going to communicate with people, it will also need a face. Scientists believe that giving a robot a face can make it seem more friendly. For Mary, she wants to make sure that her new robot doesn’t look too much like a human. She wants people to just treat it as a machine-person.
