There are some phrases for you to retell the plot. Now work in groups to retell the sotry with the phrases. From the story, we can see that “the last leaf” saves Johnsy. What is the problem with Johnsy? (Ss) She lost confidence in life. she belived she would die when the last leaf fell down. So we can see this is the key problem in the whole story. In the short story, problems are conflicts.
