What是特殊疑问句,指代动物或是没有生命力的事物,意为“什么“ e.g. - What is it on the desk ? 桌子上的是什么? - It’s a book. 那是一本书。 - What is it on the bed ? 床上的是什么? - It’s my coat. 那是我的猫。 Grammar Taste this. /Smell this. 尝尝这个。/ 闻闻这个。 这两个句子均为祈使句。taste是“尝”的意思, smell 是“闻”的意思。 (1) smell和taste都是动词,用于句子开头,引导的都是祈使句 Grammar Taste this. /Smell this. 尝尝这个。/ 闻闻这个。 smell 意为“闻,察觉到; 有…的气味”, 问句:How does it smell ? 答句为: It is +嗅觉类的形容词 如: nice, foul(难闻的)等。 taste解释为“品尝; 体验; 尝出…的味道”, 问句: How does it taste? 答句为“It is +味觉类的形容词, 如: sweet, sour, nice 等。 Grammar (3) 注意: 当smell和taste这两个词与复数名词搭配适用时, 问句都是How do they …? e.g. Smell the lemons. How do they smell ? They are nice. Taste the lemons. How do they taste ? They are sour. Grammar 祈使句的用法 e.g. Taste it. 表示尝一尝。 答语可以为: It’s sour. 或 ___________ 或_____________. Smell it. 表示闻一闻。答语可以为: It’s nice. Close … 表示合上 … e.g. Close your eyes. 表示“闭上你的眼睛”.
