Have students list the technologies mentioned in this unit and ask them to think of some other high-tech products that they think will be available in the future. 2. Have students work in groups to discuss and choose which product they want to design, and answer the following questions. (1) Which product would your group like to design? We want to design a time machine. (2) Why do you choose this product? We choose time machine as our future product because we all want to travel through time into the past or the future. It would be an amazing experience. 3. Have students decide what information should be considered about the product they will design. Appearance，Functions，The way to operate it，Target users，Name…. 4. Have students read the example in part C on page 55 to learn how to write an attractive description of a product, and then answer the following questions. (1) What is the appearance, target users and function of InstaTrip watch? The InstaTrip watch is a watch with a state-of-the-art touchscreen and a virtual three-D globe that can transport people to a far distant land instantly just by touching a few 批　注 buttons. Once you choose your destination, built-in sensors map your body and the latest transport technology takes you there in an instant. The watch has designs for different ages, genders and occasions. (2) How does the author make the product description attractive? The author makes the product description very attractive by creating a slogan in the title and using pictures of a beautiful seaside scene and a person operating the watch. Besides, the words also encourage the reader to imagine the amazing functions of the watch. 5. Have students work in groups and discuss the details of their product. 6. Have students put together their ideas to make the product description with pictures or illustrations if necessary. 7. Have students present their work to the class in English. 8.
