传统艺术形式
As we all know, it is our duty to protect the traditional Chinese
culture. My favorite traditional Chinese art form is paper cutting.
Paper cutting can be made into different shapes, such as figures,
animals, flowers and Chinese characters with good meanings. People often
put them up on the walls, windows and doors to make their rooms more
beautiful. Paper cutting is an important part of Chinese culture, which
often appears at festivals or weddings.
14
People think it can bring them happiness and good luck. We should try
our best to protect and pass on this traditional art form. I think paper
cutting should be taught in schools so that students can learn this art
form. We can also make some online videos to make more and more
people know about it.
Let's work together to protect this traditional art form and keep it
alive.

社交礼仪的介绍
Dear Jack,
I'm very happy to hear that you're coming to China next week. Let me tell
you something about customs and manners in our country.
As we all know, different countries have different customs. So the manners
in China are very different from those in your country. First, we Chinese are
supposed to shake hands when we meet for the first time. Then we greet each
other. After that, you can talk about something relaxing.
17
But you are not supposed to talk about someone's salary, age and so on.
Second, we use chopsticks to have meals while you use knives and forks.
And you shouldn't point at others with your chopsticks at the table. Also,
it's bad manners to talk too much when you're having meals. I hope you'll
have a wonderful time in China.
Look forward to your reply.
Yours,
Li Hua
