(I)Lead in (5 minutes)

(II) Knowledge explanation (10 minutes)

These parts are called sense groups.
2. Example the composition of sense groups, such as words, phrases (noun phrases, verb phrases, preposition phrases, etc.) or clauses can form a meaning group. For example: I / like reading / after I finish my homework.
3. Emphasize the principle of meaning group division: divide it according to the grammatical structure and semantics of the sentence, so that each meaning group is relatively complete in the meaning.

1. Let the students read the sentences in the textbook:

2. Ask students to add a slash (/) to the pause and divide their meaning groups.
3. Ask several students to write down their meaning groups on the blackboard, and then check the answers with the whole class.
4. Play the audio, let the students listen to the recording and check whether their division is correct. The teacher explained and corrects the mistakes.
(IV) Group cooperation (10 minutes)
1. Divide the students into groups of 4-5 students each.
