教学设计 课程基本信息 学科 英语 年级 六 学期 (春季) 课题 Unit 4 Then and now （Part C Story time） 教材分析 本板块的故事语境是Zoom和Zip去科技博物馆，边看边进行交流。故事主要通过人类烹调方式、地球环境以及鲸鱼古今未来的变化，复习巩固并拓展本单元所学的核心语言。 学情分析 本单元A和B的Let’s learn部分，学生已经学习了一些基本的动词和动词短语，能用一般过去时态来描述过去发生的事情，为故事的学习做了词汇和句型的铺垫。但是，本课时的故事学习涉及到历史、生物知识，因此在学习过程中要注意指导阅读方法，让学生借助图片和关键词的帮助来理解故事，降低学习难度。 教学目标 知识与技能目标： 1.学会在语境中借助视频和图片等理解故事的大概意思。 2. 学会运用：Before, there was/were … Now, there is/are ...;In the future, there will be ...把三种事物古今未来的变化改编成三个小语段进行介绍。 过程与方法目标： 1. 学会通过浏览、精读提升阅读技能，掌握阅读策略。 2. 能制作海报，宣传保护地球、保护动物的环保理念。 情感态度与价值观目标： 1 . 学会思考人类社会发展与环境保护之间的关系，表达自己的观点。 2 . 在语境中会结合自己生活经验说说自己能为地球做什么。 教学重难点 教学重点： 1.通过视频、图片、快速阅读、词义猜测等技巧理解并阅读故事； 教学难点： 1.在相对真实、完整的语境中接触、体验、理解语言，学会在不同时态中运用there be句型。 2.能够在图片和情景的帮助下，引导学生去讲故事； 教学准备 多媒体课件，PPT，flash动画。 教学内容 六年级下册 Unit 4 Then and now （Part C story time ） 教学过程 Step 1: Warm-up 1 Enjoy a video: 《Then and now》 2 Look and say : T: What are the changes around us? Let’s look and say. Before, there was/were(no)__________ .Now, there is/are ______________ . Changes are everywhere. And changes make our life convenient. 【设计意图】通过一段人们过去、现在生活发生巨大变化的视频，引入本课话题：Then and now. 并通过视频中引发的变化看图选择交流巩固语言点，初步感知变化为生活带来的便捷。 Step 2 : Presentation 1 Watch and tick: T:Look, Zoom and Zip went to the Science Museum last weekend.They saw a lot of changes too.What changes did they see ?Let’s watch and tick 【设计意图】通过设计Zoom和Zip去科技博物馆的的主线进入story time，并通过整体阅读了解看到的人类烹调方式、地球环境以及鲸鱼古今未来的变化。 2. Think and imagine: T: First, Zoom and Zip saw the changes of cooking.What are the changes of cooking? Think and imagine： Before,there was/were... Now,there is/are.... In the future,there will be.... 3.Read and match: 读一读，尝试将图文进行正确匹配。 (1) T:How did people cook before? Cavemen often ate raw meat.They didn’t cook their food.(随文教学caveman,raw) (2) T:How do people cook now? Now there are many things to help you cook. （追问）What things do people use to cook? People use the gas cooker,the pan,rice cooker,oven and many other things to cook. (3)T:How will people cook in the future?（随文教学house robot) In 2050,there will be house robots. (追问）What will the house robots do?They will cook ,clean and wash the dishes. (4)根据思维导图总结changes of cooking： 【设计意图】在处理人类烹饪方式变化时，首先出示本课核心句型：Before,there was/were... Now,there is/are.... In the future,there will be....，请学生进行想象猜测，再呈现任务read and match，要求学生读读连连。教师通过不断的追问，帮助学生找到本段的核心内容，最终通过引导复述变化。 4.Look and guess: T:Then , Zoom and Zip saw the changes of the earth.Here are some pictures and words ,Can you try to look at the pictures and guess. 5.Listen and choose :听录音，选择正确的信息填空。 (1) Before: There were many trees and clean rivers. （追问）What else?(操练:There is /are...) Now: There are more and more buildings. (追问）What else?（操练：There was/were...） So what should we do? In the future:We should help the earth now. So birds will have homes.The forests will be healthy and green again. Before humans lived on the earth, whales already lived in the sea. （新授already） Why are there not many whales now? What should we do now? I think we should heal the world and make it a better place! If we change now,whales and humans will have a bright future.(新授bright） （3）根据思维导图总结changes of the earth 【设计意图】在处理鲸鱼变化的时候，教师直接放手让学生阅读找出关键信息，三个变化的处理由扶到放，学生的能力不断提升。 7.Watch and follow 8.Retell the story 0- T:Are all the changes good? What should we do?So please heal the world ,and make it a better place! 【设计意图】通过思维导图帮助学生复述故事，并通过问题“Are all the changes good?”引导学生思考变化给环境带来的困扰，从而顺势情感教育：“Heal the world,make it a better place!” Step 3 Consolidation 1.Think and say:How to heal the world and make it a better place? 2..Make a poster: T: To make more people heal the world ,I think we can make a poster. Choose one part to make a poster. Step 4 Homework 1.1. Read the story after the tape and tell it to your friends. 听录音，模仿跟读，并将今天的故事讲给朋友听。 2. Make a poster and introduce it.继续完成环保海报，并介绍一下吧！ 3.
