Today was a special day because we went to the Underwater World for our class trip. I woke up very early, feeling very happy and looking forward to it. The Underwater World is a big place with lots of different fish and sea animals.
We got to the place and saw a big octopus made of metal. Our first stop was to see the colorful tropical fish. They were so pretty and swam very well in the water. I liked how they were all different from each other.
After that, we went to the shark tunnel. It was like walking inside a big fish tank with big fish swimming over our heads. It was scary but fun to see the sharks and other big fish so close.
For lunch, we ate sandwiches and watched the penguins. They were funny to watch as they walked around. They looked a bit silly but very cute.
In the afternoon, we got to touch some sea animals at the touch pool. At first, I was a little afraid, but then I touched a starfish. It felt weird but exciting!
The best part of the day was the dolphin show. The dolphins did some really cool tricks, like jumping high and sliding on their bellies. They were so smart and could do so many things.
At the end of the day, we were all very happy but also very tired. The Underwater World was a great place to learn about the sea and the animals that live there. I learned a lot and can't wait to tell my family about it. I hope we can go on more trips like this.

Diary Entry: A Fall Trip to Shanghai Disney Resort
October 10th, 2023
What an amazing day! Today, our class went on a fall trip to the Shanghai Disney Resort. I was so excited that I could hardly sleep last night. The Shanghai Disney Resort is a huge theme park (主题公园) with lots of rides (游乐设施) and shows.
We arrived early in the morning, and the park was already bustling (繁忙的) with people. Our first stop was the Enchanted Storybook Castle (奇幻童话城堡), which is the largest castle in all the Disney parks. It was so beautiful and majestic (宏伟的)!
We then went on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride (加勒比海盗游乐设施), which was thrilling (刺激的). We sailed through caves (洞穴) and even had a mock battle (模拟战斗) with pirates. It felt like we were part of the adventure.
For lunch, we enjoyed some delicious Mickey-shaped cookies (米奇形状的饼干) and ice cream. Yummy!
After lunch, we watched the Frozen (冰雪奇缘) show, which was fantastic (极好的). The singing and dancing were amazing, and we all sang along to our favorite songs.
In the afternoon, we rode the Tron Lightcycle Power Run (创极速光轮), which was the fastest and most exciting ride of the day. My heart was pounding (怦怦直跳) the whole time!
As the day ended, we watched the fireworks display (烟花表演) over the castle. It was a magical (神奇的) end to a perfect day.

Today was a day full of fun and new experiences as our class went on a fall trip to a local agrotourism farm (农家乐). I was really looking forward to it because I'd never been to a farm before.
We started our day by gathering at the school and taking a bus to the farm. The ride was filled with laughter and singing. When we arrived, we were greeted by the farm owner who gave us a warm welcome and an overview (概述) of the day's activities.
First, we went to the pumpkin patch (南瓜地) to pick pumpkins for Halloween. It was exciting to walk through the field and choose the perfect pumpkin. Some were small, and some were as big as basketballs!
Next, we visited the animals. We saw cows, sheep, and even baby goats. Feeding the animals was my favorite part. They were so soft, and they seemed to enjoy the food we gave them.
For lunch, we had a delicious homemade meal prepared by the farm's cooks. It was simple but tasty, and we all ate a lot.
After lunch, we took a tractor-drawn wagon (拖拉机牵引的马车) ride through the fields. The air was crisp (清新的), and the scenery was beautiful. We saw rows of corn and wheat, and it was interesting to learn about how they grow.
We also participated in a hay maze (稻草迷宫) competition. It was a bit challenging, but our team worked together and found the exit in the end.
As the day came to an end, we sat around a campfire and roasted marshmallows (烤棉花糖). It was a perfect way to end a day filled with fresh air and fun.

Diary Entry: Visiting the Robot Museum**
April 20th, 2024
Today was a day of wonders as our class visited the Robot Museum (机器人博物馆) for a field trip. I've always been fascinated by robots, so I was super excited to learn more about them.
We arrived at the museum and were greeted by a friendly robot guide (导游) who looked like a human but was made of metal and wires. It was so cool! The robot guide showed us around and explained how robots work.
We saw many different types of robots, from small ones that could fit in the palm of your hand to huge ones that were as tall as a house. There was even a robot that could draw pictures, which was amazing.
We also got to see a robot that could play chess. I tried to beat it, but it was too smart for me. It moved its pieces (棋子) with a mechanical arm (机械臂), and I lost in just a few moves.
The highlight of the trip was the robot dance performance (表演). The robots danced to music and even did some flips (翻跟斗). It was so funny and entertaining.
I learned a lot today about how robots are used in different fields like medicine, space exploration, and manufacturing. It made me think about how robots can help people do difficult jobs and make our lives easier.
I can't wait to tell my family about this trip. I'm also thinking about becoming a robot engineer when I grow up. Today was truly a day to remember!
